Spec's Late Night Listens
After a long day, it's nice to just sit with a pint of Guinness and spin
these albums as I recap on the days events. |
1 | | Elliott Smith XO
It's a nice chill album, packed full of emotion. |
2 | | Wilco Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
A great listen if I have something on my mind or have had a rough day. That
being said, it's always a great listen no matter how I feel. |
3 | | Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here
Late at night is when my attention span is probably at it's peak. Well, for music
anyway, not logical work. 'Wish You Were Here' is a good way to take full
advantage of my patient mindset. |
4 | | Foo Fighters In Your Honor
The second disk is full of quieter songs. My favourite is probably the first track
'Still.' The song paints a picture in your mind and helps you drift off with a smile
on your face. |
5 | | Alter Bridge One Day Remains
Not the softest album but for some reason, I fall asleep great to it. |
6 | | Radiohead Kid A
You all knew this album would be on the list. 'Kid A' is sure to invoke some
trippy dreams and has a nice groove to it. |
7 | | Sublime Sublime
Helps you find some positives in a day that didn't go so well. |
8 | | Coldplay Parachutes
The only album I really like by these guys. It's very relaxing and reminds me of
'Radiohead.' |
9 | | City And Colour City and Colour LIVE
The voice of Dallas Green is sure to sooth your mental aches and pains as you
drift off into dreamland. |
10 | | Attack In Black The Curve Of The Earth
Sounds like songs you would listen to around a campfire. |
