United Abominations
I really thought this was going to be God-awful, but after I heard "Gears of War", I thought it would be solid. Then "Sleepwalker" was released, and I was stunned. This could be the best metal album of 07 if Dave and the gang can continue what "Sleepwalker" represented. They've got a lot of talent within the band, and it'd be a shame to see it put forth towards a crappy album. But, so far, I've liked what they've put out. To be honest, I'm rather dreading this. The songs they performed did not catch me at all, and in my mind, they should probably just give up already. Just tour around the world, and never step foot in the studio. That being said, I know I'll end up buying this. Damnit. | |
