This one has actually worn off of me already. I actually just removed it from my ipod about an hour ago. But still, this was way better than anything else they've ever released. 3/5 | 2 | | Fleet Foxes Helplessness Blues
I know a lot of people probably expected this one to be good, but i honestly thought their debut was pretty fucking boring. Wasn't expecting much from this at all. It completely surpassed all my expectations. 4/5 | 3 | | The Weeknd House of Balloons
Still can't believe that i am loving a fucking R&B album... 4.5/5 | 4 | | Foo Fighters Wasting Light
Until White Limo was released, i think a lot of people gave up on this band. I honestly can't even say that i consider myself a fan of theirs, even after this, but this was still a pretty enjoyable listen. 3.5/5 | 5 | | This Will Destroy You Tunnel Blanket
Glad i gave these guys another shot. This is certainly far more interesting than i remember Young Mountain being. As far as post-rock goes, this is definitely better than EITS's latest. (even though this isn't really "typical post-rock". it's much closer to drone ambient.) Haven't rated this yet, but it'll probably end up being a 4 or 4.5/5. | |
