04.06.11 | It has been a great year thus far. |

04.06.11 | definitely love 1, 5, 6 and 10
although my hands-down top 3 are the new ones from Ulcerate, Raekwon and Mac Lethal |

04.06.11 | THE top albums, or YOUR top albums? |
greg84
04.06.11 | I'm not into hip hop that much. I liked the latest Pharoahe Monch album though. It almost made the
cut. |
Inveigh
04.06.11 | you should give the new Mac Lethal a shot man -- it's pretty incredible |
greg84
04.06.11 | OK. Will do and tell ya what I think. |

04.06.11 | word man |

04.06.11 | I have doubts if it's my kind of hip hop album, but we'll see. |
DoubtGin
04.06.11 | have listened to everything but 2 4 and 7 (downloaded the Beardfish album already, though)
Nearly everything else, especially 1 and 6, is awesome. The only album on this list I didn't enjoy as much was 9. |
Tyrael
04.06.11 | You forgot the new Earth, among others... |
greg84
04.06.11 | Naah. Sadly I didn't like the new Earth album.

04.06.11 | Ughhhh, what about Scurrilous? |
greg84
04.06.11 | @ doubtgin: Go for the remainging 3.
I haven't heard Frank Ocean and Scurrilous. Will give them a listen soon. |
greg84
04.06.11 | Ah. Sorry. Scurrilous is the new Protest The Hero album. I didn't get it for some reason. Well. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not a fan. |
DoubtGin
04.06.11 | what is 7 actually like? I've heard it has members from Cog and Karnivool; do they play a similar brand of alternative rock/metal? |
greg84
04.06.11 | Nah. It's more atmospheric and way darker than both Cog and 'vool. The music is also heavy on tribal rhythms and quite original to say the least. The vocals recall Jeff Martin off The Tea Party. |
Jethro42
04.06.11 | A Greg's list! Yesssss
