04.11.07 | Mastodon, the brilliant riffs. Great concept lyrics, angry vocals and technical drumming are pretty entertaining. Lamb of god's ashes of the wake cd completly sucks, but their Sacrament cd is one of my favorite metal cds. Nirvana straight up sucks balls |

It is the album all the run of the mill bands today dry to recreate but cannot because they don't have the talent, imagination, or passion that KSE had in 2002. It's crunchy riffs and brutal breakdowns blend perfectly with emotional singing and soaring melody creating a diverse and interesting album. While I'm not one of them, many people believe it represent's KSE's peak. |
