toxin.
09.06.11 | I've had it for 3 weeks without treating it (it's the allergic kind that doesn't go away) and have one stupid shit like wearing contacts over it.
Figured I'd make a stupid list like everyone else does on this site. List is completely random albums |
toxin.
09.06.11 | Or, in my case, putting shitty contacts in your eye. (pun obviously intended) |

09.06.11 | someone farted on your pillow. |
toxin.
09.06.11 | I don't sleep like that, so that's probably irrelevant |

09.06.11 | someone shit on your contacts. |
toxin.
09.06.11 | acorn, sorry, it's viral and therefore contagious through both air and computer.
@Pit, well no shit, it was me who did it. |

09.06.11 | maybe your lense case fell in the toilet. i accidentally dropped my sisters case in the toilet two days ago. she still doesn't know. |

09.06.11 | there's actually several different types of pink eye, one of which, yes, is caused by the bacteria found in feces. the other two are fungal and viral infections though. the viral one sucks the worst because you pretty much just have to wait until your body fights it off on its own. |

09.06.11 | POO EYE! |
toxin.
09.06.11 | lol ifght, I said before, it's actually the allergic kind from my old Acuvue 2 (as opposed to oasis) lenses I think. Treatment is just eyedrops until the allergen is out of my eye |

09.06.11 | "maybe your lense case fell in the toilet. i accidentally dropped my sisters case in the toilet two days ago. she still doesn't know."
I'm trying to visualize how this "accidentally" happens. Like you took her case and held it over the toilet because you were bored and they slipped and fell in? I'm seriously puzzled here. |
toxin.
09.06.11 | He obviously peed on the floor because he's mentally retarded, so when he was holding her lens case, he slipped and it conveniently fell into the toilet. |

09.06.11 | You're cacaeyed |

09.06.11 | yeah I just found out I'm allergic to Opti-Free Solution so I had to switch to Clear Care peroxide |
toxin.
09.06.11 | I always use Opti-free I think. I'm allergic to the kind that like bubbles up. idk what it's called. |
someguest
09.06.11 | yeah, that's the kind I just switched to. the peroxide with the vertical case. |

09.06.11 | My eyes are so sensitive I had to go with dailies and they still fucked my eyes up. No contacts For Omni. :^( |
toxin.
09.06.11 | So then we're completely opposite, huh? Interesting.
@Omni, that sucks. At least it's not ten years ago where having glasses meant death (I got mine at age 5 sooo I was pretty much called a nerd 'til I got contacts in 7th grade. It's pretty funny how I had an inferiority complex about it and pretty obsessed over sports to compensate). And you can get laser eye surgery, too? |
someguest
09.06.11 | and you have to be responsible with them, more than people realize |
someguest
09.06.11 | lol
I swear my vision became subpar because of computer use, but the optomitrist doesn't believe it. I could see fine as a kid. |
toxin.
09.06.11 | @Someguest, with contacts? |
someguest
09.06.11 | yeah |

09.06.11 | I've been wearing glasses since Jr. High. The contacts I originally tried were the first monthly kind. They really fucked my eyes up. I've had issues ever since. At least they weren't Glass like my moms first pair were. I'm sure I would have stabbed myself in the eyeball. |
toxin.
09.06.11 | And yeah mine got destroyed by reading too much and playing way too many computer games. Oh, and the fucking pokemon games on Gameboy Color/ Advanced. My vision is -9.25 in my right eye/ -8.75 in my left eye. They'd probably both be -3 without Pokemon haha |
toxin.
09.06.11 | And meh, as long as you don't get lazy cleaning them, they're okay. I actually prefer glasses except for aesthetics, which is enough of a reason to wear contacts.
@Omni, that's not too bad. And yeah, I think for people with issues with regular contacts, the day-by-day ones are a lot better, but they're expensive as hell. |
ohfoxxxycole
09.06.11 | haaha you have pink eye |
SmurkinGherkin
09.06.11 | -9.25 what the actual fuck
i'm too lazy to pay for daily contacts and usually only wear glasses in class and at the movies, i live in a blurred world the rest of the time |
toxin.
09.06.11 | lol.
@Smurkin, yeah my eyes are really terrible. It's part genetic (apparently) and part environmental (video games, computer, reading). So I can't afford to do what you do (except during track practice when I'm wearing glasses). Either way I'm waiting for my eyes to stabilize so I can get Lasics (I'm a few months from 18 so age isn't an issue) but my ophthalmologist told me to wait until I'm 25 |
foreverendeared
09.06.11 | I'm 25, been waiting for mine to stabilize to get Lasic for so long, but they just keep getting worse. It may have something to do with the fact that I keep my contacts in for months at a time without ever taking them out, even for sleep (and these are just the regular contacts, not the ones you're supposed to do that with). |
SmurkinGherkin
09.06.11 | Yeah once i've paid for and done stuff I want to do with my life (Uni, travelling etc, i'm 17 too btw) i'm gonna save for surgery...hopefully by then my eyes will have stopped deteriorating. Wearing glasses makes me look like such a douche. Wouldn't be seen dead wearing them on a night out. Contacts are pretty pricey as well. |
toxin.
09.06.11 | @forever, wait you cannot be serious. Never mind your eyes not stabilizing, how haven't you gotten a major eye infection. I've had my (regular 2-week) contacts on for one entire night (it was probably 30 hours) and when I tried to take it off it was stuck onto my eye and took me probably 2 minutes (like actual minutes) to take each off. And I could feel the air rush in and shit. I can't believe you do that.
@Smurkin, yeah for me, my parents are pretty middle class so I think they'll pay for that. But I mean if your eyes aren't as God-awful as mine, you can afford to wait a few years. And I don't think glasses look douchey. As part of treatment for pink eye you can't wear contacts, so I've worn my glasses for the last four days (I have to wear them for 10 days starting tomorrow when I start treatment). They're actually slightly nerdy, which looks very eccentric with facial hair that I never have. I guess it depends on the kind.
But yeah, contacts are ridiculously expensive. I think mine are like $150 for a year (not sure) |
