2011 Rap I've Been Lovin

These albums are a few rap albums i've been diggin a lot this year so definitely check them out.
5 Jay-Z & Kanye West
Watch The Throne

Two of my favorite rappers on the same album? Nice. The boasting is expected but songs such as "New Day" and "Murder to Excellence" stray off the boasting path and add more depth to the album. Now THAT was unexpected.
4 Lil B
I'm Gay (I'm Happy)

Wait...the guy that made the dumbass "Wonton Soup" punked everyone and made a socially concious and brilliantly produced album? Yeah...blew my mind too.
3Danny Brown
XXX

Once you get used to Danny Brown's sometimes obnoxious voice, XXX delivers some of the coolest production and most fucked up lyrics this side of Tyler, The Creator.
2 Main Attrakionz
808's & Dark Grapes II

One of the more unique albums of the year, the chill beats and great flows by the rappers make the theme of drugs and sex sound unique.
1 ASAP Rocky
LiveLoveAsap

A newer release, ASAP Rocky has been generating a ton of buzz right now with his huge 3 million record deal. And with this release, it's easy to see why. While the guy needs to improve his lyricism a little, the production is often quite stunning with hard hitting to low fi beats. Definitely one of the most intriguing new comers for sure.
