| Bands/artists That I Don't Like
I made a list of bands that I like a lot, so I thought it would be appropriate to make a list of bands that I don't like. I have various reasons for not liking them, which I have included, whether it's because the music honestly sucks or because it's something different. Again, enjoy. | | 1 | Fallout Boy
I did, at one point in my life, consider FOB to be one of my favorite bands, but I have since changed my tastes a little bit. I don't really think the boys are terrible musicians, but I just can't stand their attitude and the popularity they have. They just seem to be in it for the fans and the fame, not the sake of music. Words cannot express my loathing of Fergie and my desire to burn her alive. She's a slut. She's getting rich because she's a slut who can "sing" about her sluttiness. Her "music" is just as shitty as every other mainstream hip-hop capitalist out there, except every song she writes has, "STOP - Check it out!" Geez! Well, really they're just another pop-punk band that's jumping on the whole "emo" bandwagon. I can't really stand the singer's voice... too girly for me... and they don't really seem like very incredible musicians. Odd comment from a punk rocker, isn't it? | | 6 | The Click Five
These guys are just stupid little pop boys who barely know how to play their instruments. The singer obviously edits his voice on the recordings, too. I just can't stand them. | | 7 | Buckcherry
They do have a kind of interesting sound, using blues scales and minor pentatonic riffs and solos, but it does tend to get repetitive. At least, in my opinion, this band just isn't that great. I don't really like them too much. And for God's sakes, Crazy Bitch was overplayed like crazy! (No pun intended) | | 8 | Aiden
Well, every time I hear a different Aiden song, I think of another band that sounds just like the songs, except better. My Chem., Thrice, AFI... Aiden just seems to be ripping off of all these bands. | | 9 | H.I.M.
I never really did like their music. It seems like lots of people just started "liking" the band because Bam Margera is a big fan of them. And I know some people who like their pentagram logo more than they like the band... | | 10 | Three Days Grace
They aren't really very good music writers. Not every song has to be Verse/Pre-Chorus/Chorus/Verse 2/Pre-Chorus/Chorus/Bridge/Chorus. And what doesn't help is that they often reuse lyrics throughout the course of a song, which doesn't help so much. I could go on and on about why I'd rather listen to a different band other than Three Days Grace, but maybe I'll write a review for their album to cover that. | |
