Albums That Aren't That Bad

There's plenty of albums out there that get ragged on a bit too much; most of them are average, and some are actually pretty good.
1Linkin Park
Minutes to Midnight

The album is a good departure for Linkin Park that still keeps the traditional charm and sound that made Linkin Park popular in the first place.
2Trivium
The Crusade

Look, the lead singer may be the most blatant James Hetfield wannabe-but the music isn't half bad. Trivium set themselves apart from the metalcore bands and are now a good trash-revival band. That's fine in my book.
3The White Stripes
Get Behind Me Satan

While Jack White was a bit too self-indulgent with this album and sometimes it gets pretty irritating its still not too shabby. Blue Orchid is a good song.
4Nine Inch Nails
With Teeth

The album was just Trent Reznor exploring yet another area of rock/industrial music. The album has an excellent 'dark' vibe to it, the drumming is great, and its easily NIN's most mainstream release.
5Smashing Pumpkins
Zeitgeist

It's not as bad as its made out to be-its just Billy Corgan getting his foot in the door again. It's an extension to Mellon Collie that gets pretty original and experimental by the end.
6Nickelback
All the Right Reasons

Nickelback is actually getting a little more varied with this album; there's a nice variety of hard rock songs and slower, radio-friendly ballads.
7Smashing Pumpkins
MACHINA: The Machines of God

The album is the most experimental Pumpkins album, and is a very good album. So many songs are classics, the album flows together nicely, its original, and varied.
