House of Stone
The most perfect album I've heard in a long time. It's been one of my favorites all year- a perfect mix of ethereal folk, avant-garde, and ambiance. The guy has insane vocals too, the majority of the album is made entirely from his looped vocals, most of the instruments are home made as well. | | 2 |  | All the Empires of the World
Return
This hasn't been out terribly long. But, it's the band's final release, and it's incredible as well. They basically kick out the walls they had around themselves in their excellent album "Blessings" and go crazy. Guadalupe Plata (2011)
