He's not, nor has he been at any point in the season, an all-star QB...but he's a solid backup-come-starter. Can no one ever give him that? It's either he's the miracle man or an overrated hack, when he's really pretty much exactly where he should be in his second season, if not a little above average.

Defenses often bite enough to allow receivers some separation. Even more so when defenses are already off-balance because of the option offence they run through similar formations.
