| Top 10 Albums
My 10 favorite albums | 1 | | Nine Inch Nails The Downward Spiral
This album is absolutely amazing. Everything comes together, the vocals are great, and the music is cool as shit. This album made Nine Inch Nails my favorite band. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing this is. | 2 | | Rammstein Reise Reise
The first Rammstein album I ever listened to, and I loved every minute of it. It even helped me out in German class. Sweet lyrics too, even though they are in German. | 3 | | Alesana On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax
A lot of people hate Alesana. I did at first. After I finally gave them a chance, I feel in love with them. Bloodcurdling screams and high-pitched singing make this cd a winner. | 4 | | Linkin Park Hybrid Theory
Middle School was so much better once I found Linkin Park. While Chester's voice can get pretty damn annoying, I still love this cd. It's a blast to sing along to. | 5 | | Eisbrecher Eisbrecher
Germany is the king of industrial music, IMO. Eisbrecher is fun to dance to and the songs are varied enough to make the entire album stay fresh. These guys need more exposure. | 6 | | Nine Inch Nails The Fragile
This double disc epic is still put on play at least once a month. When I first got this, I listened to it three times straight on the way to South Carolina. When the obvious filler tracks are ignored, this cd is a classic. | 7 | | Dillinger Escape Plan Miss Machine
I didn't like DEP for a long time. I kept giving them chances, even though they were painful to the ears. I've matured in my musical tastes since then, and DEP is just plain amazing. | 8 | | Before Their Eyes Before Their Eyes
Before Their Eyes is a Christian band who I discovered on myspace. They only had a few fans and I few songs. Since then, they have released this album which quickly became my #8. If you can tolerate the lead singer, you need to give this band a chance. | 9 | | Heavy Heavy Low Low Everything's Watched, Everyone's Watching
I love HHLL. I found these guys on myspace and fell in love with Tell Shannon Her Crafts are Ready(not on this cd). I got this cd and I fell in love with it. They are pretty great live also. | 10 | | Norma Jean O' God The Aftermath
This cd has to be on here. It isn't necessarily one of the best albums ever, but it introduced me to the genre of metalcore, which introduced me to nearly all the music I listen to now. Honorable mention. | |
