Favorite Collaborations, Part 1

I love when artists collaborate with each other, especially ones from disparate genres, so here are some of my favorites (note: this list is obviously not exhausted, always plenty more to go!):
1Busta Rhymes featuring Linkin Park
We Made It

Anything with LP is worth a listen, and they compliment Busta nicely. Love the
use of the "Thriller" piano as well.
2Korn featuring Ice-T
Children of the Korn

Of nu-metal and rap: You get the best of both worlds on this track. I can
identify with the lyrics as well; perfect for rebellious teenagers everywhere.
Outstanding mixing job by Mr. Brendan O'Brien as well.
3Timbaland featuring She Wants Revenge
Time

Who would've thought of putting these two together? Drony darkwave meets
subtle R&B.
4Timbaland featuring Fall Out Boy
One and Only

The other great collab on Timbo's Shock Value. Am in love with the main
electro-rock riff. Timbo's rant at the end is kinda funny, too.
5Madonna featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland
4 Minutes

Dig the structure, M and JT play off each other like they were married.
6Kanye West featuring T-Pain
Good Life

Ah, yes, summer of '08, when Yeezy and T were still getting played on the
radio. How times have changed. Great beats, another MJ sample, funnily
enough.
7Bring Me the Horizon featuring Lights and Skrillex
Crucify Me

One of the best songs on There is a Hell... Awesome structure, lyrics,
production, everything is great. And yes, that is Mr. Sonny Moore who is
chopping up Lights' vocals.
8Kid Cudi featuring MGMT and Ratatat
Pursuit of Happiness (Nightmare)

Psych rap meets psych rock, with delicious Ratatat electro-guitar break near the
3-minute mark. And, OMG, those beats work my subwoofer so hard! "Oh my
god, why did I drink so much and smoke so much, oh..."
9Britney Spears featuring Nicki Minaj and Kesha
Till the World Ends (The Femme Fetale Remix)

Better than the original. Crazy and extremely memorable rap from Nicki,
appropriate cameo from co-writer Kesha, and dubstep breakdown to round it
out.
10Coldplay featuring Rihanna
Princess of China

Great stuttering synths, cascading vocals and guitar lines, good production.
