| Great Bands You Probably Haven't Heard
Well, this is a short list of bands that i've noticed that have almost no rratings, reviews or rrrrcomments, concluding that not a lot of users know rthem, so... I'm recommending them to rrrryou. | 8 | | The Appleseed Cast Illumination Ritual
Great post-rock outfit that kinda brings a much needed breath of fresh air to the
genre, pretty good stuff, and the production is slick. | 7 | | The Mire Glass Cathedrals
This is another band that I fell deserves a lot more attention, with this album they
showed their chops, and their will to make a great post-metal record.
It's not the most complex or original post-metal album out there, but it offers a
really solid experience overall, and it reminds me of Isis quite a bit so... that's a good
thing. | 6 | | Parabelle Air
I'm not entirely familiar to their previous work, but this album's pretty great,
kinda clich?d at times but still solid lyrics, great acoustic instrumentalization, and
great, great singing. | 5 | | Plus/Minus Jumping The Tracks
Kinda strange, but this album doesn't even show on the artist's profile here on sputnik so... I
kinda felt like putting it here, because it's a pretty solid indie rock/pop album,
with a lot of attention to detail, and a lot of layers to it, great stuff. | 4 | | The Secret Agnus Dei
Well, maybe this band is a little more recognized around here but still, i'd like to
point them out for being a great Mathcore/Grindcore band from Italy that should
get more recognition for their great work. | 3 | | Vetusta Morla Mapas
This is an alternative rock band from Spain that I highly admire (and saw live a
couple of days ago along with band #2), and I'd definitely like to help spread their
music, and get people to know them. | 2 | | Zoe Reptilectric
Great experimental-alternative rock band from Mexico, we like to call them the
"Mexican Radiohead", just a little less complex, and more straight-forward in
terms of music. Highly recommended. | 1 | | Emmure Felony
Well, this is one of the most original, unapologetic bands i've heard, and this
album shows them at the top of their game. Sorry, bad joke, avoid this shit by all
means. | |

| TheGreatQ
03.02.14 | lold hard at 1.
I'd add to 6 that it's the current project of the original Evans Blue singer... which looking at the number of ratings they have here probably doesn't mean that much lol | dh198
03.02.14 | I discovered 8 recently, and they're awesome. | postrockpaperscissor
03.02.14 | I knew 7 of the 8 bands listed.

03.02.14 | Yeeah, I thought that maybe some of you already knew some of these bands, but still, it's here for people that wants some new good music. | Faraudo
03.02.14 | I forgot about this, but I also recommend Soda Stereo, one of the most recognized latino rock bands out there, amazing stuff. Also, their vocalist Gustavo Cerati's solo work. | TheSupernatural
03.03.14 | I'm a big fan of 6, although that isn't their best work. Their singer, Kevin Matisyn, did the vocals for Evans Blue's first two records. I highly recommend checking those ones out. | Faraudo
03.03.14 | Thanks man, it's just that i'm not familiar with their previous work, I started listening to them with that album. | stuck_in_decades
03.03.14 | Checked out 3 and it is pretty awesome, thanks. | Faraudo
