11.03.15 | Can only agree on the description for "Cars". It's my second favourite Pixar movie right behind TS 3. Always thought it's comparatively mature message was overlooked cause of it's toyish, cute look. Great that it gets some praise for once.
Not too fond of "Finding Nemo" at 1 though. Classic maybe, but it's in the "A Bug's Life" area concerning cheesiness and predictability and it's got one likeable character only. One of the Pixar movies I like the least (haven't seen any that came after "Up" though) together with TS 2 and "The Incredibles". |

11.03.15 | TS3, Wall.E, and Up are tied for 1 for me, also Inside Out is phenomenal really disagree there |

11.03.15 | Toy Story 3 > 1. Wall-E falls off in the second half, but the first is best thing pixar ever did prob. |
ArsMoriendi
11.03.15 | Seen all of these except for Cars 2. Don't want to see Cars 2 since I'd have Cars 1 at 14...
The other 13 are great though. |
dtsanchez
11.03.15 | 1. Up 2. The Incredibles 3. Toy Story 4. Better be home soon 5. Bug's life

11.03.15 | no way are Ratatouille and Cars better than the Incredibles. And no effing way is Monsters University better than Inside Out. Honestly, Inside Out is better than Cars, and Up too, I'd say. The Incredibles will always be my #1 tho |

You realise one of the those isn't a film right, dtsanchez? |

11.03.15 | What i'm liking about the responses is that the ones most people think i've got wrong are the ones I have a soft spot for/have a personal message to me so it's fine by me |

11.03.15 | what's everyone think about the music choices? |
CamiloG
11.03.15 | For me both cars movies should be on the bottom of the list and toy story is the absolute 1. Great list though. |
CamiloG
11.03.15 | Inside Out is top 5 for me too |
RogueNine
11.03.15 | I always like Cars the best. Maybe that's because I like motorsports but I think it was really well done. However, I have no intention of watching the sequel. Not sure how I'd rank this whole list (plus I think I haven't seen the most recent four). |
acdlewis
11.03.15 | I'd hugely recommend watching any of these if you haven't seen them before |

11.03.15 | pixar is overrated and all their films are boring |

11.04.15 | If you're describing 12 of Pixar's 15 movies as "great" or better, you need to watch more movies.
Same for describing Up's opening as one of the most emotional moments ever on screen. |
Rowan5215
11.04.15 | Yeah that was ridiculous hyperbole tbh |
RadicalEd
11.04.15 | Like the ranking for the most part, although I'm less fanboyish about the movies. Also Cars is 14 and Cars 2 is 15. Agree hard on Inside out though. |
mifzal
11.04.15 | "pixar is overrated and all their films are boring"
I won't call them boring..but they are massively overrated...but what else do we have? Dreamwork? they are pathetic.
True Pixar Magic Shines in The Incredibles, Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo and Ratatouille. Rest are above average..nothing special.
|
KrazyKris
11.04.15 | Interestingly its exactly those four movies that I think are rather average and on the lower end of Pixar work in their prime (everything till TS 3). Maybe with the exception of Ratatouille, but the others...
And Dreamworks on the whole is miss and hit (more miss than hit maybe), but they still have Antz, which would be Top 3 in a combined list for sure, and the first two Shrek films. |
Sinternet
11.04.15 | 'but what else do we have?'
Ghibli
The Incredibles is decent though |
Trebor.
11.04.15 | pixar movies have not aged very well
or maybe I'm just getting old
or maybe I've just seen too many films |
