Alternative title: Music I never grew out of
1Korn
Follow the Leader

I grew up during the late 90's/early 2000's. When I was like 9 years old, this was the peak of nu-metal. I remember sitting in the corner during school and writing my first song. It was called "Black" and it was terrible....You'd think I'd have grown out of it but nah there's a lot of nu-metal that SLAPS.
2My Chemical Romance
Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge

When I was in junior high, you know damn well all us were hype as fuck when our Catholic school principal decided to play "Helena" during a school dance. And you know damn well I'm still gonna sing along if it comes on now. All the eyeliner, all the time.
3Millencolin
Pennybridge Pioneers

I recently found a video on YT of the entire Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 soundtrack and it reminded me that I am both not any different than I was when I was 9 years old playing that during summer vacation, yet my thinning hair, eye bags, and student debt tell a different story.
4Pokemon
Pokemon - The First Movie

Early mornings, watching DBZ, Sailor Moon, Pokemon with my dad before school. Welllllll now I live in Japan (again).
5Evanescence
Fallen

This BANGS, SLAPS, and any other exaggerative adjective. All these years later, Going Under is still going to be sung at top volume whenever heard.
