Best sound ever on an indie record. You find genius songs and details hidden behind ice cold guitars and fulltime reverb. One of my favorite albums forever.
The debut album of Women is not as great as Public Strain but also fantastic and a must-listen. It is a raw mix of standalone songs which do not fit together very well. So there is less flow but the album fascinates with its crazy ideas and eerie coldness.
Ice cold and totally crazy indie (at its core it is indie, forget the electronics!) which sounds like an extreme version Womens Public Strain which is already extreme. Public Strain, this one, Panda Bears Person Pitch and Primary Colour by The Horrors are by far my four favorite indie reverb albums ever.
