10.10.22 | My wife can’t sleep without some wind down background noise so Audible is amazing.
The best ones we’ve done are
The Witcher series (brilliant narrator and really good stories)
Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series (a bunch of incredible narrators here too and I missed these stories as a kid and they’re amazing)
His Dark Materials (same as Discworld) |

10.11.22 | I'm the same way with the background noise need lol. Been meaning to check out His Dark Materials and I bet that Witcher series is fire too. Only played the third game but it seems like it would fit good for some reading for sure |

10.11.22 | That’s what I did mate, loved the 3rd game, loved the dlc, so just gave it a crack
It’s a really good series which adds some nice background to the game story
Ciri went through some stuff as a kid let me tell you! |

10.11.22 | The first couple of books are like short stories so you get the vibe of what a Witcher is and they’re worth it for the prequel
Also, for some reason on the audiobook there must’ve been a weird translation because we called Dandelion Dan-dilly-on for the first book or two which he’s now known as in my house |

10.11.22 | The Sandman adaptation on Audible is spectacular |
Drifter
10.11.22 | that blac monks album is great. the cover to their follow up is so hilarious |

10.11.22 | That’s next on my list after Discworld
I liked American Gods but first I was aware of The Sandman was the Netflix series |
Slex
10.11.22 | The Netflix series started out really good but it got so unbearably cloying and soapy and not at all the vibe of the comics in the slightest lol, haven't even finished it yet smh |

10.11.22 | Yeah, it went to shit with the vortex story.
The stuff with death and with David Thewlis was brilliant though, really good. |
