Holy fuck. I randomly picked up this album and it screams post-rock genious. Very hard to compare them to any band. Songs are all over 10 minutes and if you check out their last.fm page everyone seems to be pitting them against GY!BE for some unknown reason (since the only similarity is song lengths). Get this right now. Been a while since an album has given me chills up my spine like this one has. Couple of things I would of put on if I wasn't lazy the first time around:
Rodan - Rusty (kinda follow up to spiderland)
Trenches - The Tide Will Swallow Us Whole (sludge)
The Coma Recovery - Drown That Holy End In Wine (progressive post-hardcore)
Swallow The Ocean - Self Titled (Hardcore with post-metal or post-metal with hardcore, whichever what you want to put it)
I had Transmission0 for ages and since I've tried getting back into it I've enjoyed its simpleness.
