| Need New Music
I've been consuming large amounts of music this summer, and it feels like i've exhausted all of my normal avenues for finding new music. So I'll ask all of you guys to recommend me anything you think is great that I may like, if you could include the genre of what you are recommending that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks dudes. | 1 | | Kaospilot Shadows
Good scramz. 3.5/5 | 2 | | In First Person Lost Between Hands Held Tight
More great scramz, I liked this more than the previous one. 4/5 | 3 | | Margins Margins
Excellent excellent excellent post-rock. If you're into post-rock definitely check this out. Considering reviewing it I like it so much and it needs to be heard by more people. 4.5/5 | 4 | | The Reign of Kindo Rhythm, Chord & Melody
Interesting progressive rock mixed with jazz, I enjoyed this a lot. Don't recommend This Time Next Year, not a fan. 4/5 | 5 | | Facing New York Facing New York
Indie rock, pretty good. 3/5 | 6 | | Acrnym Flowers
Venetian Snares style aggressive electro. 3.5/5 | 7 | | Ebu Gogo Worlds
Hard to describe... instrumental craziness. 4/5 | 8 | | Gavin Castleton Home
After getting the Ebu Gogo I had to check out the keyboardists solo project. I know most of the people here have heard this. I like the dual vocals and the concept driven lyrics. Reminds me of The Decemberists a little bit. 4/5 | 9 | | BATS Cruel Sea Scientist
These guys have been getting a lot of attention lately. Great band, mixes a lot of genres together. I love the originality. Can't wait for the full length. 4/5 | 10 | | As Tall As Lions As Tall As Lions
Picked this up after the RX Bandits/Dredg show. These guys put on a great show and definitely deserved my cash. I'm pumped for their next record. 4/5 | 11 | | Tiger Lou A Partial Print
Really great progressive rock. 4/5 | 12 | | Codes in the Clouds Paper Canyon
More great post-rock, not as good as Margins, but still great. 4/5 | 13 | | Blk Jks Mystery EP | 14 | | The Cancer Conspiracy Omega | 15 | | Cymbals Eat Guitars Why There Are Mountains | 16 | | !!! 08.05.09 | Hahah yeah MassiveAttack. I was looking for artists similar to Venetian Sanres and came across a few names, Acrnym was one of the better ones. Snares is still the best i've come across so far though.
Thanks for those kingsoby1, I have most of Cave-In's stuff and that Spires ,but the rest I haven't heard off, awesome, thanks. | MassiveAttack
08.05.09 | Not going to lie I couldn't stand Acrnym. Really difficult to get into. Some of the stuff on Flowers is great, other is just ugh, can't stand it. | kingsoby1
