12.10.09 | Perfect song choices for 5, Rose Quartz is a personal song highlight of the year for me | Inveigh
12.10.09 | 1, 16, 17 and 18 were all on my top 20 list. Bravo good sir. Would've like to see some Poison the Well though.... | jrowa001
12.10.09 | very good list | intothepit83
12.10.09 | inveigh, i must ask this, and dont be offended, but did u have sex with a member of PTW??? cuz u are all over their dick lol | Inveigh
12.10.09 | haha, i wish! but yeah, i'm kinda a fanboy. It's funny, my band played a show with them and Throwdown the day I graduated college in 2008 and I was a fan at that time, but wasn't as into them as I am now. So, what I'm saying is... I probably COULD have slept with a member of PtW if only I had known how much I would love them only a year later... | intothepit83
12.10.09 | i think we've had this conversation b4, inveigh..... i used(keyword there) be good friends with chris hornsbrooke and the original lead singer, ary...... saw them in their first show ever | Inveigh
12.10.09 | ^hah, yes I think we have had this convo before.. that's pretty tight though, seeing them in their first show ever. | intothepit83
12.10.09 | lol, they were nowhere nearly as good then as they are now.... absolutely amazing band and for someone who didnt get into metal and heavier music til he was about 12, that band is timeless | Inveigh
12.10.09 | I agree, PtW is awesome. If metalcore was nu metal, PtW would be its Deftones. | intothepit83
12.10.09 | lol, that's perfect.... never thought of it that way.... although you could say the same thing about converge | Inveigh
12.10.09 | You could definitely say that about Converge. You could also say they're almost like the RatM of metalcore (the band that basically started it all, but didn't really fit in with what came afterwards). | intothepit83
12.10.09 | converge was one of the more extreme acts i got into when i was getting into heavier music.... oh man, they're so extreme!!!! | Deathcar
12.10.09 | Sick list, lots of good choices, though I'd put 16-18 (and if it's including EP's, I didn't on mine, 20+21) higher though.
I should really check out Ulcerate, it sounds pretty good.
Also, the PtW love is definitely needed. What a band, they were incredible when I saw them live earlier this year... | Inveigh
12.10.09 | man, even though I was into a lot of hardcore in my teenage years (mostly tough guy hardcore though...) I just really "got" Converge this year when Axe to Fall came out. I liked Jane Doe, but didn't think it was the genre-defining album everyone claimed it to be. I'm going to revisit it very soon here though. | intothepit83
12.10.09 | i was i think 17 when jane doe came out, and none of my friends wanted to listen to my music, so no one ever rode with me. when i started playing jane doe in the car, that pushed them even further from me lol | FeralMemories
12.10.09 | Big props for putting 7 on here. | GBJ
12.10.09 | new PTW was good, but it didn't quite tickle my loins enough | intothepit83
12.10.09 | every album they've put out has tickled my loins..... except versions.... it tickled my sphincter | Inveigh
12.10.09 | ^lol, you do have a way with words 'pit. But I feel the same way.. | Douglas
12.11.09 | Much love for 6!! | DreamingOfSleep
01.06.10 | Ulcerate live (supporting Nile) was a sight to behold. |
