12.16.09 | In an interview with Blunt Magazine, Jona announced they have just taken a break to "Do their own thing and grow as musicians". He also said the band would not tour until they had a new release, because people would think they are just touring for the money, and he hopes to record a new I Killed The Prom Queen album in the next 12–18 months. |
Mordecai.
12.16.09 | well shit, i didn't know that. They were broken up at one stage though. |

12.16.09 | yeah, Fugazi for sure. Also on point with At the Drive-In. I'd also throw in At the Gates, Pantera and Faith No More (forget reunions, I wish they had kept making albums 10 years ago). |

12.16.09 | there are so many bands that quit way too quickly. when i was in high school, i listened to this band pulse ultra. one of the few nu metal acts that actually had meaning. after one album, though, they split. didn't fit the formula, didn't sell albums, got dropped from their label, and split. that shit sux. i still listen to that album today |
Inveigh
12.16.09 | can't say I ever listened to Pulse Ultra.. a lot of good smaller bands do break up early though. There's just no money. |
intothepit83
12.16.09 | and it's shit! all the genre's are so watered-down now, that you have to sift through the garbage to find the greats. and after spending all this time trying to find it, they split after only 1 or 2 albums. while bands like atreyu(no offense to atreyu fans, just an opinion) water down the genre with nothing original about them, bands like skycamefalling dont make it. |
