06.21.14 | I cannot get into Animals as Leaders sadly but new Swans is amazing. Clppng is awesome but I'm still iffy on the new Death Grips release. A bit too glitch for my taste but I am still giving it more shots. Also, the newest Cloud Nothings does little for me after the first three tracks, but those tracks are some of the best of the year in my opinion. I can see why it has connected well with fans of the band.

06.21.14 | What about Pattern Walks? That's easily my favorite on Here and Nowhere Else. |

06.21.14 | Pattern Walks was too long and uneventful for my taste. I wanted to love Here and Nowhere Else, but it just didn't happen.
My top would have to be as follows:
Black Monolith- Passenger
IDYLLS- PRAYER FOR TERRENE
Old Soul/nic- Split
Wreck and Reference- Want
Planning for Burial- Desideratum
I tend to like darker music so that may be why Cloud Nothings doesn't quite pull me as hard as most. As far as more chill music, St. Vincent's newest impressed me a good bit and the new Chevelle album was quite surprising. I am way behind on the rest of my albums though.

06.21.14 | Hmm, out of those albums are there any you think I would like? I know it's probably hard to answer that, but maybe you can catch a taste from my ratings. |
krthll1
06.21.14 | Depends on how heavy you like your rock music. What is the heaviest band you have found enjoyable before? As far as Planning for Burial, you really have to be ready to take a beating with the lo-fi recording and muted vocals that feel like a tortured soul's cry for help. |
