The Department Store Radio Part 2
I decided to continue upon my other list about the radio at work and continue it with a second list. |
1 | Five For Fighting
The piano tune "Slice" makes constant rotation at work. Lyrically, the song sounds like someone longing for the pasts wet dream. |
2 | Shinedown
AAAAHHHH JUSS SAW HAILEYZ CAHMET becomes very grating on the ears when you hear it every hour. |
3 | Bruno Mars
Every time I hear "The Way You Are" I can only think of if my girlfriend ever wrote a song like that for me, I'd break up with her immediately. |
4 | Smashmouth
All Star plays on the radio every once in a while it's a little bit of nostalgia for my 6 yearold self. |
5 | Hedley
Perfect is probably the cheesiest goddamn song I've ever heard in my life. |
6 | Gavin DeGraw
Chariot and Cheated On Me are by far a few of the worst pop songs I've heard in my life, and I have this douchebag to thank. |
7 | Howie Day
YOU AND I COLLIDE DO DOOOO DOOOO |
8 | James Blunt
Surprisingly, "You're Beautiful" isn't the song that gets constant airplay at my store. "High" is the song that does. And for some reason it is one of the only songs that play on the radio at work that doesn't bother me. |
9 | Daniel Powter
Bad Day was fucking awful in 2006 and it is not any better in 2011. |
10 | Natash Bedingfield
My mother had "Unwritten" as her ringtone from when it came out in 2005 to about 2009. It was literally something I loathed to hear. Hearing it on the radio brings back memories of horrid car rides where her phone would be ringing off the hook and that song would play all the time. |
