| Concert Review 6/6
Concerts I've been to so far this year, plus a few to come this month. (I know it's 6/7, but I'm going to leave it as 6/6, because I started writing it yesterday and it's a better number.) | 1 | 1/20: Crazy Spirit/Brain Slug/CREEM/Goosebumps @ 538 Johnson
First show of 2012, and my introduction to Crazy Spirit courtesy of Skrapyard. I didn't find the openers to be particularly memorable, although I liked CREEM more than the other two. But Crazy Spirit was deservedly the headliner for this show, tearing into their noisy brand of punk with the crowd exploding into a mass of limbs and studded jackets, with the occasional mohawk slicing through the fray. Walker, the vocalist, sounds like a chainsmoking weasel - I don't know how else to describe his voice, but it's great. I loved this show. | 2 | 2/4: Stillbirth @ The Stone
Dominick Fernow (Hospital Records, Prurient, Vatican Shadow, etc.) curated two weeks of noise shows at The Stone - two acts per night, $5 each - but I only ended up going to a couple, including this one with Skrap. Stillbirth apparently improvised the set, fiddling around his intricate set-up with finesse. I haven't been to many noise shows, so I'm not really sure what to make of them. I think I prefer not to see the musician, honestly, unless they do something interesting, as I think it kind of breaks the incorporeal feeling I get from listening to noise. | 3 | 2/8: Burning Star Core @ The Stone
Some excellent noise courtesy of Spencer Yeh, to whom I awkwardly introduced myself after the show to tell him I liked his set, ha. I hadn't actually heard any of his stuff before, but went on a whim and I was very glad I did. His brand of noise manages to be warm, soothing even, yet while maintaining a measure of detachment and distance - his moniker seemed extremely fitting in that respect. While his loops were going, he even pulled out a violin and began playing, alternately soft and plaintively and then sawing savagely away at it. This acoustic aspect of it really added to the performance and added much more visual interest for me. | 4 | 2/9: The Body and Braveyoung @ Saint Vitus
The bands were touring together to promote Nothing Passes - seeing 'Song 2' performed live with both the bands was fantastic. I've already seen The Body before, and their performances are generally pretty consistent, so no surprises there. Also, the Jones brothers from Braveyoung (guitars/vocals and drums) are total fucking foxes, omg. | 5 | 3/2: Nomad/Deformity/Zatsuon/Sad Boys @ Lulu's
7" release show for Nomad, a local hardcore band with a Japanese vocalist, and an all-around excellent, noisy show from all bands. I don't like Sad Boys that much, as their songs are all pretty similar, and I can only take the vocalist's yelping so much, but they definitely work better live. Zatsuon was when patrons of the bar started leaving, because of the earsplitting feedback and layers of noise that started emitting from the amps - so good. This continued through the raging, fist-pumping hardcore of Deformity and the shameless but totally satisfying Disclose and D-Clone worship of Nomad. | 6 | 4/1: Ilsa/Ruin Lust/Scowl @ The Acheron
Last minute show with my favorite local metal band, Ruin Lust! Scowl put on some decent grindcore, and Ilsa was pretty enjoyable - more than I thought they would be from a brief listen to a couple tracks online. But, yes, I mostly went to this because of Ruin Lust- helps to be friends with 3/4 of the band, ha. It was the best performance from them yet, and their new second guitarist adds quite a lot to their sound. Watch for a new release this summer. | 7 | 4/6: Bone Awl/Negative Plane/Villains @ Saint Vitus
Bone Awl's ten year anniversary show! Of course, it was sold out. Villains was pretty shitty, and really pissy about it when someone yelled at them halfway through the set and told them they sucked - the drummer made a point to flip her off AFTER they were done, lol. I didn't like Negative Plane quite as much as I hoped I would, especially as the vocals seemed really off to me, but I still enjoyed their weird brand of black metal. Bone Awl, on the other hand, was nothing but enjoyable with their primitive black metal/punk that translates so very well live. | 8 | 4/7: Bone Awl/FFH/Pharmakon @ Red Light District
This one wasn't nearly as packed as the show from the night before, because RLD is all the way out in Far Rockaway in the basement of someone's house. Kind of a weird area with somewhat seedy looking suburbs juxtaposed with large mansions. The basement was weirder with cut-outs from porn magazines collaged on the walls, with blue and red lights washing over everything. I ended up chatting with my friends next to a large picture of a woman getting gangbanged, and we stayed back there through the two noise openers, since we didn't really feel compelled to be right up front (and since this was a small basement with no incline or stage, you really couldn't see anything if you weren't right up front anyway). I made my way to the front for Bone Awl, though (spent most of the set helping to keep people from crashing onto Marco's kit), and I much preferred this intimate space to Saint Vitus, and being close enough to see the sweat coming off the band. | 9 | 4/8: Hoax/Veins/Raw Nerve/Divine Right/Chain Wallet @ 538 Johnson
Last show for Raw Nerve in New York (their last two shows were back home in Chicago in the following days) with a stellar farewell line-up. Well, Hoax and Veins. Divine Right were decent and Chain Wallet weren't too memorable. Then, Veins came on and tore the place up. This is actually in a large loft (next to the space where I saw Crazy Spirit in January), so there were people jumping off ladders and shit. It all continued in a similarly unrelenting fashion, with a huge, testosterone-fueled mosh pit raging and slamming into the vocalists from Raw Nerve and Hoax. Probably the most exhilarating show I've seen without even being in the pit. Also, yes, this was a crazy weekend. | 10 | 4/20: Puerto Rico Flowers/Rosenkopf/York Factory Complaint @ The Acheron
A local deathrock band, Anasazi was originally on this line-up, and I meant to go for them and Rosenkopf, but the former dropped. I went anyway, and enjoyed the power electronics of YFC and the psychedelic gothic space rock (they're just weirdo goths) of Rosenkopf. Rosenkopf was really the only highlight for me, as I left four songs into Puerto Rico Flowers. He was mindnumbingly boring, especially as he decided to not have any session musicians, so it was just him singing mournfully over keyboard and synths. None of the guitars or drums of his recorded tracks... Why?! | 11 | 4/21: Lustmord &Biosphere/Jacaszek @ West Park Presbyterian Church
Part of the Unsound Festival, this was a wonderfully immersive show. I thought Jacaszek actually stole the show with his incredibly moving set, incorporating a live bass clarinet and oboe, I believe, which worked remarkably well. I still really enjoyed the Lustmord and Biosphere collaboration - they created a song especially for this performance and debuted it to clips of apocalyptic wastelands and nuclear bombs - a fitting (if a bit overused) visual accompaniment to their sometimes subdued, but always dark, even menacing, piece. I thought the church setting was a little weird, but it totally worked. | 12 | 4/28-4/29: Gilead Media Music Festival
HOLY FUCKING SHIT (see previous list) | 13 | 5/4: Autopsy/Funebrarum/Unearthly Trance/Undergang @ The Bell House
I was so fucking stoked for this: Autopsy's first appearance in NYC in almost twenty years, and they fucking delivered. One of my favorite shows, as far as performances. The crowd left something to be desired, especially during Funebrarum with Daryl Kahan actually getting kind of annoyed at the listless crowd. Mostly, it seemed like a bunch of hipsters showed up for Autopsy's set, probably because they don't even know who Funebrarum are.... Anyway, I was up front for both sets, and had a great time worshiping at the feet of two fantastic death metal acts. Undergang were good, although lacked the stage presence for a larger venue like the Bell House (I think this show should have been at a smaller venue - less awkward moshing), but I didn't dig Unearthly Trance all that much, although they certainly weren't bad by any means - just incredibly outshone by the other bands in attendance. Hyperion also drove up for this, so it was cool to see him again! :D | 14 | 5/19: Ulcerate/Tombs/Svart Crown @ Public Assembly
Went to this show with AngelofDeath, since he was in town. Svart Crown were entirely forgettable for me, and Tombs were pretty good, although I thought their set got somewhat tedious near the end. It didn't really help that I was pretty tired... But I woke up once Ulcerate began playing. God damn, these guys are something to see live. The drummer has the most splash cymbals I've ever seen on one kit, and they would look almost cute, except for what's done with them, heh. Their dense atmosphere is just about palpable, as if you can just feel it crawling all over you - my appreciation for this band definitely increased after seeing them, and I was very happy they played "Everything Is Fire". There was the most annoying hipster at this show, though. I think she just drunkenly wandered in with her friends, but she got mad when people began moshing and began pouring her beer purposefully on people, including me. At that point, I grabbed her and pushed her back, away from the front. She apparently spent the rest of the show yanking on Angel's hood. Never seen such outrageous cuntishness at a show, but I suppose it had to be a hipster asshole. | 15 | 6/4: Merzbow/Wold @ Saint Vitus
Best birthday in a while. I had Indian food with Ruin Lust, hung out in a bar, then headed to the later show (there was one show at 8 and one at 10:30, both sold out). I'm pretty sure the frontman of Wold is actually crazy, as he kept doing weird shit throughout the set, but no matter, because it was great. His live drummer had an industrial fan and an oil drum to bang on, and she was pretty intense too, beating away with powerful, mechanical precision. Although Merzbow isn't my favorite noise artist, I was still excited to see what he would do. He had a live drummer (who has performed with Venetian Snares and Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble before, to name a few), who added a lot of intensity to the set, while Merzbow had this weird custom 'guitar' (it looked like a film canister strapped to a power strip with some springs, while he used a tin can and a pasta fork as 'picks') to provide a live feed to manipulate with his array of effects. I was right up front and center for this, so my body was literally buzzing with the immense noise he was creating. All in all, a great experience. | 16 | 6/7: Planning for Burial/Thisquietarmy/AUN @ The Acheron
DEATH TO FALSE GLOOM. PfB is opening, but I'm going for him. I hope all this rain and cloudy weather holds out until the evening, haha. | 17 | 6/10: Antisect/Morne/Perdition/Death First @ Europa
Didn't even know Antisect were still around, but cool. | 18 | 6/24: Rosenkopf/Violator X/Spicoli @ Rosendome
Official Rosenkopf fan here. | 19 | 6/28: Death/Gorguts @ Irving Plaza
I'm actually kind of torn about this, because I'm not that psyched about seeing Death with the vocalist from Obscura, but $30 to see Gorguts with only one original member? Eh, I'm going to wait on this a bit longer. | 20 | 6/30: Martyrdoom Festival @ Public Assembly
Dead Congregation, Encoffination, Cruciamentum, Father Befouled, Grave Miasma, Sanguis Imperem, Kommandant, Prosanctus Inferi, Anu, Perdition Temple, and Evoken for $20- enough said.
But, seriously, cannot wait for this. | |
Masochist
06.07.12 | I'm not kvlt. I'm not cool. I've heard of exactly ONE of these bands. Fucking one. | Satellite
06.07.12 | that's one more than me! | Vesper
06.07.12 | Lol, Mas, don't feel too bad. There's probably only a handful of Sputnikers who would know a good portion of these bands... which makes me think this list isn't entirely worthwhile with a limited audience, but whatever, haha. | Vesper
06.07.12 | But, seriously, guys? You haven't even heard of the big names like Death, Merzbow, and Autopsy? Lustmord? Isn't he popular on here... | Masochist
06.07.12 | Satty - Death. That's about it. And even then, only because of Sputnik.
Vesper - But there're a lot of lists like that (half of them by Deviant :-P). | Masochist
06.07.12 | Oh, didn't catch Merzbow. I've heard of them, too. So two. Huzzah. | Graveyard
06.07.12 | "But, seriously, guys? You haven't even heard of the big names like Death, Merzbow, and Autopsy? Lustmord? Isn't he popular on here..."
I don't like death, but yea love all of those. Also totally jelly you saw Tombs live | Satellite
06.07.12 | oh i've heard of death nvm | Vesper
06.07.12 | Hurray, Mas!
And, yeah, that's true... just look at that Coldwave list by Graveyard... ohai!
Tombs dragged a bit for me at the end, but still good. There was a woman who was reeeeally into them, like beyond headbanging... throwing her entire body into it, actually, for at least half the set. Kinda impressive in how excessive she was. | Vesper
06.07.12 | Thanks, sonic. But, no, I did not see Saint Vitus, because I sadly could not go to MDF.
'if you havent heard gorguts, i mean, damn what do you listen to'
Hahahaha. | Graveyard
06.07.12 | "just look at that Coldwave list by Graveyard... ohai!"
Lol love you baby, did you find anything you liked? | SteelErectedb4you8er
06.07.12 | Dead Congregation is so damn good live, that will be a badass show, man! | Skrapyard
06.07.12 | "I think I prefer not to see the musician, honestly, unless they do something interesting, as I think it kind of breaks the incorporeal feeling I get from listening to noise."
With you on this one. I'd like to see Prurient live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLlSnjs-rl0 | Vesper
06.07.12 | I haven't had a chance to go through all of it yet, but I liked the ones you rec'ed, as well as the recs from before related to Cemetery (I was already a fan of Xmal, though), so thanks, bb. Feel free to keep me updated with any new post-punk/deathrock.
Have you looked through the Systems of Romance site at all?
Yeah, I'm unbelievably excited to see Dead Congregation. I just know they're going to be the highlight of that festival. | Vesper
06.07.12 | 'With you on this one. I'd like to see Prurient live'
Yeah, but Prurient fulfills (and exceeds) my conditions of noise performers doing something weird or interesting, haha. He throws 'a fevered noise tantrum', as that video description says. | Graveyard
06.07.12 | "Have you looked through the Systems of Romance site at all?"
haven't had the time, but i downloaded that Various Artists- Systems of Romance vol. 666 compilation and im loving it to death :) | MO
06.07.12 | 20 sounds amazing | Vesper
06.07.12 | Sweet, Graveyard. There are so many gems on there, so when you do have time, you're going to lose it all immediately.
If there's a time to make a trip stateside, MO... it should be for Dead Congregation (and the rest of that sick line-up).
Thanks, Captain, and, yes, I have seen Jacaszek live, and, I repeat, it was amazing. Don't miss him if you ever get a chance. | Turtlestlker
06.07.12 | Would have loved to have seen Ulcerate. | Wolfhorde
06.07.12 | Lots of stuff I don't really care about, 12, 13 & 14 sound bomb though.
| ThroneOfAgony
06.07.12 | you're really lucky you got to see Prurient live. I'd kill to see him live playing 'Apple Tree Victim' | Vesper
06.07.12 | 'lol Villains'
Exactly. One of the worst bands I've seen, ha.
'Lots of stuff I don't really care about'
2 cool 4 me is that rite wolfy
'Indian food is fucking great, curry is one of my favorite things ever.'
AGREED.
'you're really lucky you got to see Prurient live'
I didn't see Prurient - I was just at a noise festival that was curated by Fernow.
I'd love to see him, if I can, but he's ran off to Los Angeles, so I think my chances are much slimmer now. | omnipanzer
06.07.12 | I've heard of about four of these groups and I don't think I'd pay to see any of them ;^P | omnipanzer
06.07.12 | 'Indian food is fucking great, curry is one of my favorite things ever.'
AGREED [2] | Vesper
06.07.12 | That's because you have old man taste in music, omni. ;] | omnipanzer
06.07.12 | Not true, just good. ;P | Hyperion1001
06.07.12 | i didnt know you got to see biosphere, im jealous of that
but fuck yeah metal
also curry is the best food ever invented | Wolfhorde
06.07.12 | Good red curry is le shit. | Hyperion1001
06.07.12 | yogurt curry is my fav | Pentagon
06.07.12 | havent heard any of these, wtf | Vesper
06.07.12 | You haven't even HEARD of most of these bands. Your judgement is nil, and you sound like my dad, lol.
Yeah, it was pretty sweet. The wonders that await you in NYC, Hype~
Have you guys ever tried phaal curry? I can't take much more than a few bites of it, hah. | Wolfhorde
06.07.12 | lrn2metlduud.
nah, but I usually have death sauce standing around and my pal grows jolokias, habaneros, jalapenos and red savinas. | Vesper
06.07.12 | I've never been that good with really spicy food (weak stomach and all), but sounds like you'd get along with my boyfriend with your collection of ass-destroying hot sauces, haha.
My friend tried ghost pepper salt before. I have no idea what you would use that on... | Tyrael
06.07.12 | Wow
you sure go to a lot of shows | rape
06.07.12 | she sure gets around | Vesper
06.07.12 | ^ Wow. | DeafMetal
06.07.12 | very nice list and descriptions vesp, i would've loved to have been at all of these. very jealous of u seeing stillbirth, burning star core, merzbow, biosphere, lustmord, raw nerve, etc etc -- typo in 2 but i know u meant vatican shadow ;3 | Vesper
06.07.12 | Haha, nice catch, Deaf. I don't know where I got 'cave' from... must be thinking of vaginas or something.
How's Pittsburgh for shows? Decent local scene and bands bands coming through? | DeafMetal
06.07.12 | hahahaha actually u just mixed COLD CAVE and VS -- so it works perfectly! yes pittsburgh has a really good local hardcore punk and DIY noise scene | MO
06.07.12 | "MO... it should be for Dead Congregation (and the rest of that sick line-up)."
you said it, that show looks amazing | Vesper
06.07.12 | Actually, yes, Deaf, that is probably exactly how my brain processed it, haha.
Cool, any favorites? I think hardcore punk is easily New York's strength at the moment - Crazy Spirit, Perdition, Zatsuon, Nomad (wish Cervix would play some shows). Wish we were a bit stronger in the metal department - can't say I like too many other than Ruin Lust and Mutilation Rites. | DeafMetal
06.07.12 | pgh is currently in the same boat as you are concerning metal. i mean we've had rottrevore, nunslaughter, mammoth bath, etc -- but overall the noise and punk scenes are where it's at. the no nazi noise coalition (NNN) organizes great shows that have featured bastard noise, cut hands, pregnant spore, limbs bin, etc | AngelofDeath
06.07.12 | Hell of a year in shows. | Vesper
06.07.12 | I think metal, in general, generally doesn't have nearly as strong of a 'scene' mindset as punk and noise do, so that might be a part of it.
'the no nazi noise coalition (NNN) organizes great shows that have featured bastard noise, cut hands, pregnant spore, limbs bin, etc'
This sounds excellent. :o
'Hell of a year in shows.'
Yep, and it's only halfway through the year! I'll probably do another one of these in December. | DeafMetal
06.07.12 | u hit the nail on the head vesp. at least the DIY ethic is almost completely absent in the metal scene -- i know some lames around here that, for some reason, feel entitled because they've been GOING TO SHOWS since 2000 or something. it's like, yeah you may have been involved since then, but how many events have u organized, how many tapes have you personally released, etc ... most likely they have someone do that stuff for them | Vesper
06.07.12 | The only times I really see that kind of ethic are from metalheads who are also really into punk (and there's a really weird divide between the two groups here - I tend to see similar crowds at metal and punk shows, but not much crossover).
But, yeah, generally, not nearly as much tangible involvement, regardless of however long they've been into metal or some other bullshit measure like that. Please, with the Internet (although I appreciate its benefits), anybody can go to shows and find out about obscure as fuck bands with minimal investment of time and zero interaction with others in the scene, much less contribution. | Shuyin
06.07.12 | all of those concerts and you didnt get to see a cannibal corpse show?
youre most definitely doing it wrong, thumbs down and reported hard. | Maniac!
06.07.12 | "4/21: Lustmord &Biosphere/Jacaszek @ West Park Presbyterian Church"
Oh my goddddddddddddddddddddddddddd. I hate/love you Vesper. I hate/love you so much right now. | Vesper
06.07.12 | I hope the hate is because I went to a church. | Vesper
06.07.12 | And I apologize, Shuyin. When they next come around here, I'll be sure to go and tell them that I think they're pretty fucking uninspired. | Maniac!
06.07.12 | Haha. It's mostly jealousy hate. Those 3 in one show? Goddamnit, I need to see that.
I am surprised they held it in a church, though I don't know why I would be. | Shuyin
06.07.12 | 'And I apologize, Shuyin. When they next come around here, I'll be sure to go and tell them that I think they're pretty fucking uninspired.'
that would end up being an extremely brutal moment. | Vesper
06.07.12 | Yeah, I found out about it the day before and was, like, holy shit, haha.
Well, besides the plethora of secular venues in NYC, I guess it just seemed weird to have Lustmord, at least, playing in a church. But it worked pretty well, as it was in the huge, cathedral-like space with Lustmord and Biosphere up on the elevated pulpit with clips of nuclear bombs going off behind them.
Yeah, what are CC going to do? Actually act out their violent misogynistic fantasies on me? Hahaha. | Shuyin
06.07.12 | YEA! M/ | Maniac!
06.07.12 | " Well, besides the plethora of secular venues in NYC, I guess it just seemed weird to have Lustmord, at least, playing in a church. holy shit. you need to bring me with you next time | Aids
06.07.12 | this should obviously get featured. great list. I love when people put actual effort into their lists to make them worth reading.
now if youll excuse me it's back to studying the riveting "Coldwave" list. | AngelofDeath
06.07.12 | Too bad he forgot most of the worthwhile albums in the genre. | DeafMetal
06.07.12 | "But it worked pretty well, as it was in the huge, cathedral-like space with Lustmord and Biosphere up on the elevated pulpit"
church shows always rule hard for this very reason | Hyperion1001
06.07.12 | not gonna lie seeing biosphere in a church sounds like the best thing ever | Vesper
06.07.12 | Thanks, Aids. :3
'church shows always rule hard for this very reason'
For sure, old churches are awesome, aesthetically. I just find it amusing that they're willing to rent out their spaces to secular bands, which are sometimes anti-Christian, at that. Tax breaks aren't enough, apparently, ha. | DeafMetal
06.07.12 | i want to see sunn in a BIG CHURCH
ba dum tsh | spillingmercury
06.08.12 | Didn't know Death was playing in NY. Think I should blow off my friends' karaoke party or whatever to see them? I've never been to a metal show though. | Maniac!
06.08.12 | Hey I told them to feature this and they did.
Sweet | sifFlammable
06.08.12 | fuck wow jacaszk n lustmord live
burning star core live sounds weird | MisterTornado
06.08.12 | 11 sounds like a winner | Vesper
06.08.12 | 'Didn't know Death was playing in NY. Think I should blow off my friends' karaoke party or whatever to see them? I've never been to a metal show though.'
It's Death minus Chuck, of course, so if that still appeals to you more than a karaoke party, then sure. Not a bad first metal show, especially with Gorguts opening.
Thanks, Maniac! :D
Seems most people are jealous of the Lustmord/Biosphere/Jacaszek show, heh. | YankeeDudel
06.08.12 | What is the appeal of noise? Teach me. Ambient is one thing but full on noise/power electronics or whatever is just lost on me. I guess its more of an "experience" rather than actual songs/music? Idk. Not elite enough yet. | AngelofDeath
06.08.12 | I'm surprised they aren't jealous of seeing a show with me. | thatsdvsmotherfucker
06.08.12 | i would be but then i remember the time we went and saw rise against together | AngelofDeath
06.08.12 | You weren't the only one that saw something 'rise against' that night. | Vesper
06.08.12 | Yankee, this is specific to one noise project, but here's a quote from Dominick Fernow that might help you get it: "'Harsh' is subjective. It implies sound that is undesirable. There is a lot of music that to me feels harsh that I doubt the creators intended it to be. However that isn't to say that the sounds used in Prurient are desirable. The purpose of Prurient is not entertainment. It may be 'entertaining', but its goal is not comfort or enjoyment. Its only purpose is to make you feel something, to make you aware of your body. That is why I often choose sounds which I dislike and make me feel uncomfortable. With discomfort comes awareness, and what follows are questions. What am I feeling and why?" | thatsdvsmotherfucker
06.08.12 | just when i thought you couldnt get any fucking cooler! | Vesper
06.08.12 | Is Angel whipping out dick
jokes again? | thatsdvsmotherfucker
06.08.12 | no | AngelofDeath
06.08.12 | no | YankeeDudel
06.08.12 | Yea that makes sense Vesper. So its more of an experience to wake you up. I mean I def get a reaction from listening to that stuff. Its interesting, weird, and different. I was watching some live noise shows from Prurient and some of the other guys you posted. It def does make you feel something. So its art in that regard. Im not sure Id call it "music" though, but I guess any sounds can be music. | Vesper
06.08.12 | ok carry on then | thatsdvsmotherfucker
06.08.12 | vesper matt said you are a great person can you confirm that | Vesper
06.08.12 | Yes, I confirm it. | thatsdvsmotherfucker
06.08.12 | im flying down to see him in 2 weeks | Vesper
06.08.12 | @Yankee - Well, I don't think you're having a wrong reaction to noise or anything - if you can even have a 'wrong' reaction to a style of music. As long as you do have that kind of visceral reaction, Fernow and other noise artists would probably be pretty satisfied, lol.
And, yeah, pretty much anything can be recontextualized as music (e.g. samples and field recordings), as with any other art form. It doesn't mean it's aesthetically pleasing or that you have to like it, though. | Vesper
06.08.12 | Good for you, motherfucker. | thatsdvsmotherfucker
06.08.12 | jk but we talk on steam al the time thats the same thing right | Vesper
06.08.12 | Lol, I was directing that at thatsdvsmotherfucker, not you, Bassline.
You've actually grown on me quite a bit, to be frank, haha. | DeafMetal
06.08.12 | yankeedudel not acting like the worst user on the website wut | Acanthus
06.08.12 | Lustomord would have been kick ass to see, congrats! | Crysis
06.09.12 | "The crowd left something to be desired, especially during Funebrarum with Daryl Kahan actually getting kind of annoyed at the listless crowd. Mostly, it seemed like a bunch of hipsters showed up for Autopsy's set, probably because they don't even know who Funebrarum are.... "
This makes me so sad :'(
Wish I could have been there | Wolfhorde

So elite. | Vesper
06.09.12 | 'This makes me so sad :'(
