Not even Unpatterns? It's my favorite of theirs, though I love ADSR too. I saw them in December last year and they were greaaaaat. I mean they don't fill stadiums unfortunately but they have a unique way of making live electronic music. |

Dark ambience at some of its finest if you ask me. I'm kind of a nighttime listener, and that's just where the album hit me the hardest (thereby earning it's high spot on here). To describe it best in simple terms, there's a lot of mood-shifting around in the album. The first track is actually pretty euphoric with amazing synths, but the next track (one of my top tracks this year) is really depressing (for lack of a better word). The light vocal samples in the background really add a lot as well. Album makes for great background noise when you're just relaxing, as most ambient would have it.
Only thing I don't like about the album is how every track almost feels like we're starting back from square one. I like albums like this to progress, and take me somewhere, but whenever a new track starts, I feel like i'm put back where I started (if that makes any sense, I don't expect it to). But once a track really gets going (usually within the first 20-30 seconds, it's a wild ride |

And god no I couldn't stand Unpatterns. I mean granted its been a few months but it was horrid last I checked |

I am curious though, what made you like the tracks on the live album that you didn't in studio version?
"Wooden" is probably my favorite on it, they made it sound so otherworldly.
