12.09.14 | I've Been Walking Part II is so much better [2]
I was expecting more Porcupine Tree to be honest ;) |
Mad.
12.09.14 | The parts are almost equally tied for me but part 1 just has a couple more amazing moments IMO
Part 2 definitely contains the highlight of the album with that intro tho
@johnny haha yeah not sure I'd quite put Suicide Penguin as best of the century lol, Fear and Loathing absolutely though, one of my favourite songs ever
|
twlight
12.10.14 | FEAR AND LOATHING, HECK YEAH !!! |
Mad.
12.10.14 | Hell yes man, that song sincerely deserves a place on this list. I'd say it's Solterra's best song, closely followed by Contagion |
TheSpaceMan
12.10.14 | it makes me happy when pain of salvation are brought up by someone besides me and omair |
Jethro42
12.10.14 | Let me fly
Let me flyyy
Let me rise against that blood-red velvet sky
Let me chase it all
Break my wings and fall
Probably survive
So let me fly
Let me fly...
|
TheSpaceMan
12.10.14 | so amazing evocative... that song took a long time to click with me but it ended up being one of my favorites on the album, same thing happened with Her Voices |
SharkTooth
12.10.14 | Bro where's the Easter egg track on 10k days? |
Jethro42
12.10.14 | I didn't love Her Voices at the first listen either, but once you do, it's forever. I was to put A Trace of Blood on that actual list, but I felt Undertow was a song for everyone's taste. |
Mad.
12.11.14 | @Shark I'm thinking one per band bro
I'm sad that not many other people gave recs :/ |
SharkTooth
12.11.14 | you should've made the list "best indie rock songs of the 21st century" that'll get the site's attention |
Mad.
12.11.14 | Lol or just "best Brand New songs"
Indie rock counts as rock tho why can't I have some indie rock recs : |
JJKeys
12.14.14 | 15 needs to be higher; Death Room>IBWpt.1; Also - nothing off AToS and not even Tightening of the Screws?

JohnnyoftheWell
12.14.14 | "The Dear Hunter - Act I: The Lake South, The River North (Best song: 1878)"
Good shout with The Dear Hunter, it'd be great to see 1878 or The Inquiry of Ms. Terri here. However, the Afterman I as Coheed's best - really?
|
JJKeys
12.14.14 | IMO, yes - absolutely fell in love with the album when it came out
If not Ascension, Coheed's best is GA,IBSIV-VI:FFTTEOM (I love saying that), with the best song being -all of them- (I joke, The Willing Well I or The Suffering) |
JohnnyoftheWell
12.14.14 | Fair enough, I suppose I love their first free too much haha. GAI is certainly awesome, I love the Willing Well songs beyond belief. |

Friday13th
