HEALTH Prize Giveaway

2009-08-15 by Kiran EMERITUS | 11 Comments
To coincide with the release of their new album, Get Color, HEALTH have announced on twitter that they will be hiding coloured tickets in 66 copies, each redeemable for a special prize from the band.

First prize is a weekend in LA with the band, in which they will serve the winner breakfast in bed, take them to the zoo, a theme park and "love each other." The one drawback is that recent felons and the mentally ill are excluded.

Other prizes include a lock of your favourite band member's hair, being taught a magic trick by the bands manager via videochat, an LP autographed in the bands blood, and more.

Check the link below for an exhaustive list of all prizes.

I don't know if I like their new album yet. It's just OK so far.

I like DISCO more than their actual debut album but I still think Get Color could be good.

p.s. your dig is amazing

Dude definitely, DISCO is one of my favorite indie-dance records ever. As for Mew, that could be my favorite album this year.

Never listened to the band but I'll check them out now purely because of how neat their prize ideas are.

That's the coolest fucking thing ever. Now I suppose I should listen to them.

I'll probably buy this just for the chance of being taken to the zoo by members of an obscure indie band or to "prank call an established indie musician"

Never heard of the band, but this is the most bad ass promotion for an album ever!
