Its not that bad, in fact its pretty good, but it feels too much like Dream Days to give me hope in the album.
| |
yeah it's not that great, but still a little more rocky than i expected, at least.
reminded me of midnight oil a little
| |
Song isn't bad.
| |
The real question, croc, is what do you think the new album is going to be like after hearing this?
| |
I really don't know. They could release a rockin' single and a mellow album, I didn't bother with the last album tho.
| |
Fair enough then, figured I'd put the question out there anyway
| |
Haha yeah, you love the band I guess?
| |
Oh def, but like everybody else Dream Days was a disappointment for me, and therefore so is this single
| |
I saw the band with silverchair and couldn't help but feel dissapointed
They're a great band, but I'm gonna say the living end are my favourite aussie rockers.
| |
Yeah, figured you would, which is cool, I just find the Living End a little too poppy now for my tastes.
| |
I just love the guitarwork haha.
| |
Lol, they do have some damn fine stuff
| |
Sounds better than anything from the last album
| |
^^True that
Except for Lost And Running, which was, in IMO, the best track on there
| |
The only track on there.
| |
i had a soft spot for long way to go. excepting the lazy solo it was a great song. oh and head up in the clouds could have come straight off odyssey #5
| |
I agree, its just that there were quite a few songs which were meh and I didn't care much about, like Drifting Further Away and I Don't Remember, they just didn't have the same spark as some of the finger's other stuff.
| |
yeah it was completely autopilot
| |
Shame too, but like I said, this sounds way too similar to the stuff on Dream Days for me to go crazy over the new album
| |
i actually dont mind "I don't remember" from dream days, but yeah, it's their weakest album along with parables.
they've been an incredibly consistent band though if you think about it.
