....ANOTHER greatest hits cd? What the fuck?
Digging: Misery Signals - Controller
|
| |
At least they've been around long enough to put out a Greatest Hits package.
"He's the one to call..."
Digging: Paloma Faith - Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?
|
| |
At least this one has the original Shout and 'Too Young To Fall In Love' but still no (or barely any) love for the first album
Digging: Natasha Bedingfield - Pocketful of Sunshine
|
| |
Just seems completely unnecessary seeing as they have like what? 4 greatest hits compilations now?
|
| |
This is a very unecessary release
Digging: Fear Factory - Obsolete

Technically it's replacing the last one named Greatest Hits from 1998 so they still only have 4. But yeah they have millions of em floating around.

| |
A new CD? We can sell a new greatest hits!
|
| |
BassDemon is correct.
Digging: Converge - No Heroes
|

Oh boy. I collect all the Motley Crue greatest hits albums. all of their musical output is just so innovative and instrumentally brilliant.
5/5
Digging: August Burns Red - Constellations

dude as much as I love this band, the amount of greatest hits albums this band have is friggin' ridiculous and pointless. I don't own any.
Digging: Them Crooked Vultures - Them Crooked Vultures
|
| |
I only have 3 of them.
|
| |
I don't own any.
Well then you might as well start with this one
Digging: Bon Jovi - Crossroad
|
| |
In the age of downloading everything they should bring out new music or at most remixing old hits and let people download it via myspace or their official website.
Bad strategy by these media whores.
Digging: Wolfmother - Cosmic Egg

Irony.

You know what's funny, is that Motley Crue might have been the biggest band of the butt-metal 80's and early 90's, but they employed one of the worst guitarists from that era. Mick Mars has nothing on CC Deville, Vito Bratta, or Reb Beach.
|
| |
Yeah, CC Deville.
|
| |
Reb Beach is one of my favorites from that era. Mick Mars never really developed his own sound or technique, or for that matter any originality. Plus watching him play is like watching paint dry. No stage presence at all.
Digging: Relient K - Forget and Not Slow Down
|
| |
He developed his own sound and technique long before the likes of Reb Beach and Vito Bratta and influenced a generation of guitarists. Plus, his vertebrae are fused together so it's not as if he can do somersaults on stage.
|

Is it possible to have a CD with only 4 songs on it?
Digging: Believer - Gabriel
|
| |
Ummm of course?
Digging: Boredoms - Vision Creation Newsun

"but they employed one of the worst guitarists from that era."
The 80's was riddled with generic as fuck guitarists. Mick Mars is brilliant, and on the argument of stage persona he has stated that it saddens him deeply that he can't run around stage or interact. His a hell of a player dude.
|
| |
I dunno, as a guitar player I just find his playing boring and stale. But that's just me. I like Motley, just not a huge Mick Mars fanboy.
|
| |
Ummm of course?
