They're a really great band I think.
A Hundred Million Suns and Eyes Open are pretty fantastic records.
Their new single for this complication though sucked really bad.

Yeah the single is pretty terrible.

Eyes Open is a fantastic record, but I can't say the same for the others.

What, Final Straw? Amazing. Unfortunately, A Hundred Million Suns was annoyingly meh. This... is unnecessary.

A Hundred Million Suns had a couple descent songs, but they should definitely try to stay in the Final Straw-Eyes Open type sound.

This band is the epitome of bland, dreary shit

but they wont because chasing cars made them famoius so theyll just keep trying to rewrite that song for the rest of their careers

Actually they have said that they hate the way most people seem to identify them by that song only. I doubt they will try to rewrite it.

Anyway, Chasing Cars was on Eyes Open so why would you say they wouldn't go back?

chasing cars is a good song. it's certainly nowhere near the best track on Eyes Open.

I didn't get that vibe from Crack the Shutters. Its actually a song about sex too.

Agreed, Make This Go On Forever or The Finish Line were probably the best for me.

I love this band... Final Straw was great... i can understand why people cant get into their last few records... even tho i still dig them...

Gary lightbody could fart on a record and id prolly still listen to it...
id just prefer that record not to be a compilation album...
