Fates Warning Parallels Reissue 2010-01-20 by Trey STAFF | 13 Comments | Fates Warning will be releasing a special edition of their commercial breakthrough, Parallels on March 16, 2010 through Metal Blade Records.
The release will feature a remastered version of the album as well as a second disc of live and demo material from the time period. To coincide with the release of this special edition, the complete Parallels line-up will be playing a few one-off reunion shows. As of now, the only dates available are Thessaloniki, Greece on March 26th and Athens, Greece on March 27th, but there are likely to be US and European dates added later.

Obviously, I'll be all over this shit despite the fact that I think the only other Fates Warning fan on the site has disappeared.
| | | I like them. Don't think Parallels needs a remastered edition though

You can add me to the Fates Warning appreciation club, hanging out for this

Obviously, I'll be all over this shit despite the fact that I think the only other Fates Warning fan on the site has disappeared. I didn't leave. Awesome, Although I'd be happier if they'd reissue Awaken the Guardian of The Spectre within.
| | | They've already reissued those, and they're remastered with bonus discs too.
| | | Cool, might get this.
Would be good to see them live actually
| | | Why don't they reunite, since they've patched things up with Aresti? Is OSI so successful???
| | | Only heard Awaken the Guardian and it slays, may have to check this out among some of their others.

Obviously, I'll be all over this shit despite the fact that I think the only other Fates Warning fan on the site has disappeared. Could that potentially be me? Because I haven't been on much lately.
| | | I hope he is talking about me. I fit the description.

I hope he is talking about me. I fit the description. I was actually referring to you. The others are a surprise.
Why don't they reunite, since they've patched things up with Aresti? Is OSI so successful??? They're not broken up, they're just not the same line-up as during Parallels.
Only heard Awaken the Guardian and it slays, may have to check this out among some of their others. Let me tell you that Parallels is nothing like Awaken the Guardian - different vocalist, different style. You've heard one of their best albums already. For you, I'd suggest The Spectre Within and then No Exit. No Exit has the new vocalist so when you adjust to that then you could move forward to the newer albums.
| | | You make things so simple.

Oh, somehow I thought they had broken up, but now I see that they are currently working on a new record.
