I've no clue. I think I heard one song years ago and did't like it. But these covers are pretty neat from the two I've heard.

Heard this on the radio at an eye appointment so really didn't get to enjoy it much but it sounded pretty cool actually

Just listened to it, it's not bad at all. Wouldn't go as far to say it's as good as the original but it definately is worth a listen.

I like Gabriel's material (both with and post-Genesis), and I can't imagine this being any different.

This could be interesting, although I haven't given any work by Gabriel a listen past Genesis, most of which was some of the best 70's prog ever created.

Hmm, not terrible, but imo Bon Iver shouldn't ever be covered, since it's impossible to replicate the feelings of his songs, and thus a cover will inevitably fall short of the original..

Nah i didn't mean that man, i just meant that in my opinion it's almost futile to cover a song from an album like FE, FA, since the songs are already so personal - and so no cover could truly imitate the feelings of the original.

He wasn't trying to imitate anything, it's his own take on the song and it doesn't have to even sound like the original

Mmm, to a certain extent of course he's trying to imitate something. It's a cover song.
He must've had some feeling toward the song himself to even want to cover it anyway, which implies something about the song must have struck him. ie, the original sentiment of the song.
