Guru's Surgery Successful 2010-03-02 by Casablanca | 6 Comments | As reported on Monday, Gang Starr MC Guru was rendered comatose and hospitalised following a cardiac arrest.
Guru, real name Keith Elam, underwent a successful surgerical procedure and is expected to recover, according to bandmate DJ Premier.
Premier wrote on Twitter. "Good news: #guru surgery was successful, keep sending him love."
Guru is being kept in a med-induced coma with a breathing apparatus to help him recover with ease.
