basically a chubby swedish guy walking through the cold winter with some cool color alterations and space shit.

also just realized jonas looks alot like rody walker in this video.

lame they cut off like 50 seconds of the song tho

"space shit"

this. the music is pretty decent, but that video was aweful. why is he just standing there? and where oh where did that black hole thing come from? when did it start snowing?

but at least it's not as bad as "sticky stickly"

probably because they sound like every band with 60% pop and 40% "metal" so they sound trendy.

it's been done many times before. not a bad combo, but it's overused.

sigh....bloozclooz. I have yet to hear a Katatonia song with any pop elements in it. But as much as I was originally dissapointed with teh album, i must say it grew on me a bit.

tbh only katatonia song i would consider to be poppy is Sweet Nurse and maybe Teargas, and i have yet to hear a band sound like modern day katatonia to the point where they are a "trend"

lemme explain what i mean. it has about a 30 second part where it goes all metal, with the jesus statue, and the fact that they actually play their guitars.

but most of it is just beats mixed in with hushed vocals. no matter what i label it, i'm gonna piss someone off.

label 1: nu metal (beats mixed in)
label 2: sounds like Breaking Benjamin (as in limited metal leanings)
label 3: you're already angry

you heard it here from blooz folks, they use electronics in their music therefore they must be nu metal and they dont use distorted guitars throughout the whole song so they are following a trend....
