This is awesome news. Ecailles de Lune is one of my favourite albums ever, I don't care what people say that album is incredible.

Since I find Souvenirs to be superior to Ecailles by a fairly wide margin, I think he should've just went ahead and scrapped the metal on this album.

I like Ecailles better then Souvenirs but i agree, he just needs to make a shoegaze album and scrap the metal, i have a feeling that would be pretty awesome.

The only good thing about the last album was Part 2 of the title track, rest was pretty meh and samey. Could use alot more metal in his sound atleast.
Are his earlier albums more metal-oriented instead of that post-gay stuff?

fuckin st0ked. didn't expect this so soon either. i remember hearing that they were working on new shit, but it wasn't gonna be out until 2012, so this is a nice surprise. 2011 just don't stop.
and shit, this reminds me, i STILL have not listened to their first album. it's been on my ipod for a couple months now.

Neige has said that this is going to be a sort of synthesis of his past work, and fursy teyssier has said that it's a blending of the strongest elements of ecailles and souvenirs.
and album with the dynamic quality of ecailles and the consistency of souvenirs would be pretty much perfect imo
