I actually think this is pretty solid. It's a little bit edgier than their first album and it has a cool Tame Impala vibe. Agreed that the first single was meh tho

Damn, this song is an example of what "hate train" means. It's a pretty cool song with a Tame Impala vibe, and some guitar work that reminds me a bit of My Bloody Valentine, overall a pretty solid song, but some of you guys, it seems like you hate just for the sake of it. I dunno, maybe that's just me.

First time I listened to this band was their NPR session. Those "folkier" versions of their songs from their first album were actually great, then I heard the album and was disgusted by the originals.

Foster the People are great. Excited for the new record.

Really liked Torches, not huge on anything that's dropped for the new album so far.

Check out the New Music Review with Slade Kennedy podcast. He thought the first single "Coming of Age" was similar to Forever Young by Alphaville. The 80's are coming back. It may have been kicked off by Miley Cyrus taking cues from Madonna's 80's ho-bag antics.
