1 was pretty lame and cartoony. I love William DaFoe but he chewed a hole straight through the scenery.
2 was the best I guess. Emotionally it hit the right marks, but still some bad acting and laughable scenes
3 was bad. Just bad. I think the only part I liked was black-suit Spidey vs Sandman.

2 is obviously the best of them, but I watched the trilogy last summer and god it did not age well. The dialouge in all the movies were awkward, Peter Parker and Mary Jane were annoying as shit. I like aunt may sure. But seriously Tobi macguire is awful. Minor characters were completely underdeveloped and unimportant.
New one is better than any of them.

Between Tobi and the way they wrote Peter in the original trilogy he just came off as way too nerdy, and not the super intelligent kind that you can get behind, just a dork. The new movie is a lot better and the sequel looks great.

thats retarded dude, movies can never be 100% true to source material and as far as superhero movies go the amazing spider-man was one of the most 'true to' of any i've ever seen. they even had fucking scenes where lizard man still had the tattered lab coat on for fan service, that was fucking great. and they nailed peter parkers personality. honestly im a HUGE comic fan but people like that are the biggest fucking piss off, these are the kind of guys that fucking lose their minds if you change the hue of batmans utility belt by a tenth of a shade or some such bullshit

Yeah uh.. That review of the movie was truly awful. He was clearly all kinds of butthurt and his rant gives me the impression that he didn't give the movie a fair shot at all. Strongly disagree with almost all of what he had to say.
