This sounds good to me. Even if it's for some silly game.

Seems gimmicky

What the hell, I'm a DotA player and some friends who play LoL keep talking about this. Let's hear it.
First is lame.
Second is lame.
Done.

You mustn't listen to a lot of music with a mentality like this
|

I love Opeth but the best band ever? Nah
|

Good songs imo, though slightly disappointed that Ohmwrecker has no vocals.

League of Legends is just an entire culture based on mediocrity

I thought the first single was better, but so far I'm more impressed than I thought I'd be with a band as dumb and gimmicky as this one seems to be. I'm expecting to like the album at least a little bit.

In all honesty though, does anyone actually listen to this kind of music? There isn't really a point to releasing this kind of music for a videogame lol.
|
| |
Bands do that kind of thing a lot actually, Breaking Benjamin originally did their song "Blow me Away" for Halo 2 and it wasn't officially released until 2010. There's also a God of War 3 EP consisting of songs that are only available in it, aside from Trivium's "Shattering the Skies Above."

People will always find something to bitch about. LoL is a fun game...if you mute everyone XD or play with friends. The songs are fun nothing really amazing but they're fun to listen to.

"Bands do that kind of thing a lot actually"
Except that Blow Me Away was actually good for the game and IN the game. This is just average power put down for the young players. There is no real good qualities at all, just some bitching like "we got DT's keyboards for this!" or "Hey, we got DRAGONFORCE!".
Despite my first statement, I don't really have nothing against the game. It's just that these songs are meh. Also, I find that instrumental quite pointless, like they were too lazy to do something better.

yea so who else thinks aatrox is freelo rn

@Sabrutin Sounds like you don't listen to power metal that often. Though I can understand what your saying.
|
| |
@Toondude: I do listen to some power bands (Blind Guardian, Sonata Arctica [early], Firewind, Galneryus, Rhapsody of Fire, SinBreed, Powerwolf... just to name a few) but I'm not expert in the genre (you can count Axel Rudi Pell if you want but for me that's way more heavy metal than power). But this Smite and Ignite felt really average, with about half filler tracks and only one really notable track (Lightbringer, which I also commend because I like Jorn).

I didn't expect to like this so I just thought I'd listen and laugh but actually, I really digged the flow of "Deathfire Grasp" even though I usually don't care for Power Metal and astonishingly enough, I even liked the vocals and was stupified to learn it was the ex-Dragonforce vocalist. Kinda blown away by this honestly.
