Why?
| |
Why not? Chinese Democracy had some solid material, although it is certainly an Axl Rose record and not a GnR one.
| |
lol pls don't
| |
I'm actually looking forward to hear some new Guns material, since I really enjoyed listening to Chinese Democracy, despite of all the criticism it gets.
| |
(edit)
| |
Eh, whatever. There's really no point in continuing GNR with no original members but Axl. Plus, he can't do his thing at all anymore, with a constantly cracking voice and some weight gain.
| |
geriatric axl m/m//m
sick vox
| |
@Daniel: My point is that there might be a reunion with original members, did you click on the link?
| |
Will be absolutely awful
| |
Don't hold your breath, guys. I don't see a new album coming out in the near future at all. Members of current GN'R have been saying that a new album will be coming out in the near future since 2010. Axl has a ton of leftover material from Chinese Democracy, and I'd love to see what else he has, but I don't see anything coming out in the near future. 2018 seems like a reasonable timetable for current GN'R to release a new album
| |
been 6 years since chinese democracy already
| |
Well it's hardly like waiting for the new Tool album. Lack of Buckethead will be disappointing though.
| |
Chinesse wasnt exactly remarkable but it has like 5 or 6 decent songs. Still, I'm sure than the album will not be released in a near future
| |
Welcome to the old folks home, amirite.
| |
soon being 20 years probably
| |
Everyone knows Buckethead's contributions were the only really good things about CD. Without someone like him or Slash, GnR are useless. Especially with Axl's shrinking ability.
| |
No thank you
| |
Good heavens, this sounds like trouble in a pot.
| |
Can't wait to hear it in 2030
| |
New GnR? Come on,the world has suffered enough
| |
Don't worry, it'll probably never come out.
| |
Don't give a shit about new GnR....how about a new Tool album ffs
| |
Chinese Democracy-long wait again
| |
Who gives a flying fuck?
| |
Actually I'm looking forward to listening to it.
| |
Love Chinese Democracy, the most interesting thing Axl did in years, can't wait for new material.
| |
Thats because Chinese Democracy was actually a good album to those that actually gave it a chance
| |
Lmao not interested in the slightest
| |
Alright guys, seeya back in 2028.
| |
will suck ass for sure
| |
Will Tool come out before this?
| |
Yes.
| |
I think people are being too pre-judgemental regarding this, just like most people were regarding Chinese Democracy, that actually proved to be a great album to those who gave it a chance.
| |
There's only 2 GnR articles on this site? Meanwhile, on Ultimate-Guitar, there's another article about them every week (along with a Metallica article)
| |
Looking forward to this, I don't really care if it's "the real GnR" or an Axl Rose solo project as long as it's good, and I loved chinese democracy. But it's true that current members have been talking about a new record every once in a while for the past years, so I'm not sure this means anything.
| |
I was never a huge fan of GnR even when they had Slash killing it on the older albums, and Chinese Democracy was disappointing even with limited expectations. I wish some bands would simply stop and realize that their windows may have closed already. If their window hasn't closed already, it's quite close in my opinion.
| |
I..."sorta" liked Chinese Democracy but I found most of the songs didn't stick; like they were fine when you were listening to them but then I'd forgot them afterwards. Even crap songs on UYI were at least memorable
| |
Second what FirstLucidDream said.
| |
Posted 2014? Where the feck is this new album?
| |
never coming out hopefully
| |
Figured.
