New Replacements Album?

Is there a new Replacements album in the works?

Currently touring America with The Hold Steady for the first time since the early '90s, The Replacements'
frontman Paul Westerberg has indicated in a new interview plans to record a new full-length LP with Tommy
Stinson. Revealing new track names such as "Are You in this for the Money?" and "Dead Guitar Player",
Westerberg also had lots of love for Stinson, stating, "We'll call each other up when things go south, because we
know we can get a laugh out of each other. How many people do you know that you can call up and get a
guaranteed gut-wrenching laugh?".

While The Replacements last album All Shook Down came out in 1990 as a thinly veiled Westerberg solo-
project, Stinson, original drummer Chris Mars and Westerberg convened in 2012 to record material and raise
funds for guitarist Slim Dunlap, who suffered a debilitating stroke earlier that year. Original guitarist Bobby
Stinson passed away in 1995 of a massive heart attack caused by years of rampant alcohol abuse.

Yeah past it bands who are a hotch potch of their former selves rehashing stuff as a result of new bands being completely devoid of talent, excitement and danger is what it's all about.
