2015-01-12 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 17 Comments
UK hardcore band Gallows have released a new video for the new song, 'Bonfire Season'. The song is taken from the band's upcoming 4th studio album, Desolation Sounds.

The album will be their first as a four piece since the departure of Steph Carter in 2013 and is due to be released in April 2015.

Holy shit this is bad. I was never on the Gallows after Frank hate team (though I always thought they should've changed the bandname), but this is plain horribe. The video is complete shit as well, besides the ultra hot girl.

This might be because I'm a rock guy, but I didn't mind this.

Also helped that the chick in the video had a tight body, smokeshow.

Shit, I knew these guys kinda fell off, but this was pure trash. Bummer, back to Orchestra of Wolves for me.

Sadly, there is no point in repeating Orchestra of Wolves again and again. You run out of variations. Gallows have a catalogue of punk rock and wild performances that most bands can only envy. Each album is unique and each has seen a development of their music. This is why they are so good. They play THEIR music, the music they like and they do it without compromise knowing the venom they face in open columns like this where judgments are passes on a single track. On the new album, their best, they continue to develop their music in the way they want, and there are more surprises to come as the band continues, like the best wine, to mature. Those of us who have grown up with this great band will continue to enjoy the ride.

What annoys me about this single is Frank left the band because he wanted to go in a more rock focused direction. An album and a bit later and they go and do it anyway? The guys should have just done this after Grey Britain and would be better merely for still having Frank. The only positive I find from this track is I get a faint Alexisonfire vibe from it, but it's only faint..

Other than the chorus, I don't think this is half bad. I think the main riff is pretty interesting.

Chains was miles better though.
