I had no idea they had a new record coming out. Not too excited after the last one was so mediocre but maybe they'll surprise me

The last one was pretty unoffensive but this is a step up from what I've heard

After the Lights and Exit Wounded sounded like they wanted to make a more streamlined and accessible You Will Not Survive and I absolutely hated it. Don't let me down by saying this is better! (though better could still be bad in my mind because I really dislike AtL and EW)

dang I forgot about this band, You Will Not Survive was one of the first emo/hardcore albums I ever heard.
|
| |
after the lights was undoubtedly their weakest full-length, still pretty hyped for this since they said this would be somewhat of a retreat to their pre-breakup sound. i dug after the lights quite a lot too

thought they were long dead. the record is great!

First time hearing of this band but definitely checking out the rest of their discography. This new album is pretty sick.
|
| |
does it sound more like their earlier stuff? if so, it might be good

This has surprised me actually, it sounds similar to YWNS, far far better than what I remember of ATL. I don't even know if I ever even bothered to listen to that all the way through. It's not as good as YWNS (lacks the depth and idk, rawness that's on that album) but worth at least a few listens if you were on the fence, definitely some solid tracks on here.

Gotta check this out.

awesome, this'll be good for autumn listening.
