its been reissued a couple of times for sure with demos and stuff, not sure about a remaster though. Still happy though, been wanting this on wax for a while and they're fairly hard to come by

They wouldn't be able to put the 2011 CD master on an analog format without it sounding like complete shit so it's obv going to be a different one.

this is not really news, the album isn't being re-remastered, it's just the 2011 Relapse remaster being issued on vinyl.

Edited the post, apologies. Did not realize this was solely a reissue.

Dang that Red and Gold vinyl is already sold out I think. It wouldn't let me click on the preorder for that particular one.

I know this is a Death thread but I would be totally in for some early Overkill re-masters.

Nov 18th is a Friday (Nov 28th is not), so it's got to be Nov 18th. (Official released dates from most labels today are on Fridays)

the music "week" in the US now officially starts on Friday, so that 18th date is probably the correct date [2]

Finally someone else who doesn't look down on the album for its sound aside from some very hard 5's.

i dunno why anyone would have a problem with its sound, it's the songwriting which is lacking imo

Chuck went out with a bang because it's almost fucking classic to me. Symbolic wasn't a bad effort either

the songs are not bad, though it's by far my least favourite death album. the real problem for me lies in that horrible disaster they call a drummer, he ruined both this and the control denied album.
