Most of the Trump supporters who I tend to respect as humans are voting for him out of a feeling of being trapped into having no other option. Conservatives aren't going to vote for Clinton for obvious reasons (most of her policies go completely against their beliefs - bigger government, way different tax plans, more lenient borders, etc) and that she is much more likely to actually start a war since she has explicitly claimed to do so.

But they still fucking hate Trump because they can see that he's not an actual conservative and doesn't give a shit about the constitution. It's moreso, make sure the other person doesn't get elected. I tend to be more liberal, so I'm voting for Clinton - not because I think she is even remotely moral or representative of the people in any way, but just because "fuck I don't want the other guy to get elected."

You don't always vote for the person you want to grab a beer with or go on a date with.
