New Goodbye to Gravity video, tribute LP

2016-11-20 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 10 Comments
One year since the tragic Club Colectiv fire which killed 64 people, including 4/5 of metalcore band Goodbye to Gravity, a new official live video has been released to commemorate the band and the fateful night. The video is set to the song "Heed the Call", from their second and final album Mantras of War, and begins with a short tribute to the victims of the fire.

Universal Music Romania have pledged to donate all profits from sales of Mantras of War to victims of the Colectiv fire. Sole survivor of the band, singer Andrei Găluț, is still recovering from his injuries and, as of August 2016, was still undergoing surgery and rehabilitation.

64 people, Jesus, I can still remember the number of people dying increasing with each passing hour and day at the time.

It's eery how much fire is in GTG's songs. Even the Spaceman cover has the line "there's a fire between us"

I was just thinking about this band. This is so sad. Does anyone know how the vocalist is doing?
