Sigur Ros Spring Tour

2017-01-28 by Divaman | 11 Comments
Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós have announced a new leg of North American tour dates scheduled for Spring of 2017. According to the band's website they will be "continuing the experiment" begun in the last leg of their tour by performing as a trio without the strings, bass and extra musicians their previous tours of the last decade have been known for.

Each show will feature the band performing two sets, with no opening act. The first date will be April 3, 2017, at the National Auditorium in Mexico City, Mexico.

Sit in rapt attention? I know they used to do certain live shows in churches.

That's a silly question. Not every show you go to will or is supposed to be a head banging session.

Just snagged tickets to see them at UCI (which is such an unlikely venue for such a big act to be playing at tbh). Don't care, so excited!
