"WELCOME TO MY SAFE HOUSE
DO YOU FEEL SAFE NOW?"
lol
both songs are pretty terrible
| |
please no
| |
when nickleback released a better single than you
| |
I remember sixth grade. Mostly.
| |
That first song is horrific levels of bad, from the writing right down to the production. Oddly enough, the radio friendly song was the better of the two, but still horrible. Someone pointed out that it sounds like a WWE PPV intro song and it's so accurate.
| |
This band needs to stop dicking around and do a Fall of Ideals tour
| |
sounds a lot like alice in chains
| |
I thought these were better than pretty much everything on the last album, but still not very good.
| |
the lyrics in the first track tho. hooboy.
| |
The feels. Incredible
| |
lol "Madness" is horrendous. The heavier song is ok I guess
| |
What the fuck, why? They are both so terrible.
| |
#ALLTHATISDEAD
| |
It's almost funny. Aside from the drummer they haven't had a lineup change since their glory days. I truly don't understand how the guys that wrote the riffs and solos on TFoI can think this is good material in any way. So fucking bland.
| |
I'd argue that they never really had glory days, their best work was pretty mediocre
| |
"WELCOME TO MY SAFE HOUSE
DO YOU FEEL SAFE NOW?"
Lol was gonna post this. God wtf were they thinking.
| |
I'm sure people have been asking that since Overcome
| |
Too true
| |
These songs made me physically ill.
| |
the fuck
| |
let's see which album is worse, this or Suicide Silence.
place your bets
| |
Safehouse is the worst shit I've ever heard, way worse than Nickelback yes
| |
it's amazing how fast this band turned to complete shite
| |
Oy vey...
| |
This happens so often. A band starts out heavy, attracts a small fanbase. They add catchy elements to their music, offsetting the heaviness a bit with accessibility.
BOOM. Winning combination. It's the perfect formula to appeal to a broad audience.
Band enjoys success. Decides to ditch their heavy elements and fully embrace pop accessibility. Falls right off the fucking map.
| |
I still don't understand how Oli Herbert wrote all those excellent riffs and face-melting solos on TFoI and now is okay releasing this kind of material.
| |
He is bad and he should feel bad about it
| |
Safe House is an acceptable track bar the hilarious lyrics, but holy shit Madness is terrible.
Predicting a 1.5, which is still better than their last album.
| |
ya but some bands weren't meant to be pop bands and aren't good at it. also this band never had glory days like people think. the fall of ideals was mediocre metalcore but better than this so it looks amazing in comparison but really it's not that special either
| |
I think this will be an improvement over their previous album but still end up being a forgettable addition to their discography. The last ok album these guys did was for we are many.
| |
Not good.
| |
needs more power ballads
| |
usually i think bands get more shit than deserved on the internet, but wow these guys deserve it. wtf happened? i know they have been pretty bad for a while but these are probably the two worst songs i've ever heard by them. call it quits already.
| |
"I'd argue that they never really had glory days, their best work was pretty mediocre"
Nahhhh. TFoI is a fucking great album.
| |
agreed. they may be absolute shyte now but that doesn't make TFoI not good.
| |
Lame, this band use to be so fun in hs. They just rip off riffs from every other metal band now.
| |
TFoI is a fucking great album.[2]
| |
What on earth happened to this band?! Fall of Ideals was great album. Even really enjoyed For We Are Many. Everything after that has just been really bad
| |
nah you just got old enough to realize they suck
| |
bands really shouldnt be allowed to use the phrase 'over and over again" anymore. Please stop LOL. Its sad to see how far this band has fallen from the The fall of ideals. Genuinely great album and now this stuff just isnt good (((
| |
Oli is great as usual, shame the rest of the band fell behind.
| |
Emoji overuse in comments is actually starting to give me heart palpitations.
| |
"Aside from the drummer they haven't had a lineup change since their glory days."
Bassist left a couple years ago too.
| |
Isn't this also the band with a female bassist who isn't even attractive
| |
yeah that's why they try to hide her
| |
She's not in the band anymore
| |
Everyone is shitting on this. I don't think this is that bad. It could be better, lyrics and maybe a little bit production wise as well, but musicianship and skill are there.
| |
Safe House was good. Madness was okay, just kind of average.
| |
