Fuck the groove in the verses swings like my dingaling
Never really got into this band that much, but I am getting really excited for this album

It's interesting to hear him take some of his vocal lines a different way. I've grown so used to the single version but I dig this.
| |
This is vastly improved holy shit it's amazing now
| |
...I seriously wish they had waited to release this song. This version is VASTLY improved. The single version incited a sense of pessimism when I first heard it - definitely not the case here.
| |
single version was better tbh
| |
same old
| |
dear lord this is beefy
| |
Now we talking.
| |
This sounds enjoyable, I thought the single version sounded really weak, especially with the awful production
| |
man yall were hyping this up and then I listened to it and it was whack
| |
Wow, this sounds like Linkin Park. Not my cup of tea. Digging the soft production though.
| |
I like it A LOT better than the single version, which left me quite cold. All three tracks released so far have been quite promising, I'm liking them better than most stuff on Polaris.
| |
Wait I don't remember the screaming bits in the original. Now that's a nice and unexpected change.
| |
The new album is great, the drums are so punchy, i think i like it more than Polaris, i get what they where trying to do on Polaris, making every song have a singular identity, but i just find it better when they find a mood and stick with that mood through out the whole record
| |
I liked Polaris for that exact reason. I felt like many parts on One or AS didn't go anywhere tbh and Polaris had improved and purposeful songwriting. It wasn't perfect, but my favourite of them.
| |
I basically prefer concept albums so thats why
| |
I'm just hoping i can like Sonder at least as much as Polaris. I only listened to Smile's early version and Luminary and they didn't leave much of an impression on me
| |
This new version is great, I am really satisfied
| |
Nice to see you in many of the same threads i participate in too kalkwiese
| |
Ha, yea that's nice to see It's always to see people being connected by music
| |
I'm hoping Sonder will take the conceptual aspects of the first two and blend it with the refined songwriting of Polaris. Very hypewow for this.
| |
Miles ahead of the single version, why they decided to put that version out I'll never know.
| |
Probably because they played the single version on their tour with Megadeth, so people could listen to something that's a little better than shitty live versions
| |
I think that's also a smart way of gauging their fans. I think all singles should be that way.
| |
single version was better tbh [2] the whole album isn't good either :/
| |
Ur crazyyyyyyyyyyyy
| |
not really
I am hoping that it will warm up to me but I just couldn't get into it.
| |
Curious to see where they try to take this sound.
| |
not bad at all
| |
I really love that beginning guitar melody.
| |
Polaris is the only hiccup in this bands disocgraphy. This sounds way better though. Fuckin unreal song here boys.
| |
The song is actually good now.
