Arbiter was a surprisingly excellent album and now i'm even more stoked to see what they come up with...
| |
Dustin played in the last 3 dawg
| |
MORE MUSIC SOON PLEASEEE
| |
Fixed, thanks for the reminder Relinquished
| |
I'm not even a big post-TSY HF fan to
| |
it was well-written for sure
| |
I love pretty much every release by the band. But this gets me super hyped because the guitars on TSY and NWTSO are just unreal. And perhaps he'll contribute vocally again as well.
| |
not like Jay can scream like before. I'm predicting more of the same (hopefully!), but prob towards a more hardcore direction.
| |
not really a reunion if all they did was switch their guitarist
it’ll be cool to hear something tsy esque that doesn’t sound like its recorded in a fucking trash can, tho as someone who’s kinda whatever on their old stuff and digs the shit out of magnetic north and arbiter i hope they don’t like deviate that far but i trust em
| |
I like the production on The Satellite Years, sounds like it was recorded in space with makeshift equipment or something hahaha, but all the instruments are still clearly audible even if things are a bit muddy and compressed sounding.
| |
I'm a latecomer to this band but I thought Arbiter ruled, so yeah if they deviate too far from that sound idk what to expect
| |
therse guys have been so consistent, i expect this to be no different. i'm stoked.
| |
hyped
| |
give us TSY 2.0 please i won't even be upset
| |
remaster the satellite years please
| |
satellite years does not need a remaster
| |
Hey maybe the next album won't be boring
| |
Arbiter was fantastic, so was TSY, so I'm amped.
| |
Arbiter was the most 3.0 album that ever 3.0d.
| |
That shit a 2
| |
Arbiter is a 5, jam that shit once a week still. Last two songs hoooo shit those are good.
I Catapult outro may cause levitation.
| |
yea arbiter was probably the best come back album i've heard in a long time.
| |
Arbiter was pretty great. I Catapult really hits you in those mid-00s feels
| |
Arbiter rules dummies
| |
The possibilities are endless now. What a time to be alive.
| |
It's reasons like this I haven't killed myself.
| |
Halo's Arbiter rules agreed
| |
I was eagerly anticipating Arbiter part II but now that seems unlikely
| |
Arbiter was fantastic, but I’m so excited to hear what they do with Ryan back in the band
| |
This is beyond anything I ever wished from my favorite band. I have no idea what a follow up to Arbiter would sound like, though.
| |
@sailsaway
Why is this because they switched guitarists?? The band as a whole is not going to just jump in a time machine and make another TSY no matter how much you guys want.
Even when bands say they are going to make a new album with their 10 yr+ old sound it's never the same.
TSY is pretty legit but MN is the best think they have done, fight me!
| |
All their albums are legit.
| |
Every album is a classic.
| |
It's reasons like this I haven't killed myself.
| |
remaster the satellite years please [2]
| |
It's already been done, man. You missed that boat apparently. The vinyl re-release of TSY was a remaster.
| |
Super stoked on the boys getting to go to Japan next year. I wonder now that Ryan is back in the band if they'll be playing more stuff from No Wings/TSY. Would love to hear Dead In Magazines or Escape Pod.
| |
This news article was like "we know we shocked you with a reunion, but now let's shock you with a reunion of our best line-up" the fucking meta THE FUCKING META
| |
awesome to hear that this will be a thing I'll be there day 1 to see what they do.
| |
so when is that new album coming out
| |
Satellite Years needs no remaster
| |
This next album will be insane i bet. Maybe a double album!
| |
Nice
| |
I wouldn't be surprised if a much different version of Hall Of The Sky ends up on the final album, kind of like the first version of Bird Flu.
| |
It definitely feels like their plans have changed due to the pandemic, I doubt they just released Hall of the Sky with no intention of the rest of the music coming any time Sono.
